I worked with this man for 10 years, from 1983 - 1992. He started as a student aid at the police dept. Then became a dispatcher, a patrolman, Sgt, Lt, then Chief of Police. He helped get VCU Police Dept accredited and I typed the accrediation manual for him. He knew my two oldest sons, went to dept parties together. We are all floored.

Phyllis, Wow, huh?...Like everyone says, you never know.

Predators come in all shapes, sizes, colors & religions. Predators do have a "certain look", they just do as they want and try to stay hidden. I'm glad he was caught! I did see this on the news, I just can't believe you worked with him, yet he hid it so well, bastard! Noted w/anger that the authoritive figures we so look up to let us down.

Thank you Phyllis my friend, sorry you are deeply floored...He will now get what is coming to him. I am here if you need me friend.

Blessings to all,
FreeSpiritRunning...

I am sorry, what I meant to say of course was that Predators "do NOT" have a "certain look"...that's why no one knows who is one...thank you.

Thank you, Phillis. He does look so wholesome, doesn't he? They don't make them wear signs, but they should. A tattoo on the back of the right hand would do - maybe a kid (girl or boy, according to the perp's preference) in a circle with a line through it, like a no-smoking sign.

wow Mary...that is one of the best ideas I've ever heard of. Let them be branded as a warning to all! Thanx for posting Phyllis!

I remember meeting him when I was a student there. He was pleasant and seemed like a good office, but it just shows that people often have shadow lives. How sad for his family and friends to find this out, and such sadness for his victims.
