So sad. It says he wasn't one of the four famous ones of the group, but that he played drums for them on all of their albums. That's like being one of them.

A comment here. The article says they still sell three million albums a year. That's amazing success. I remember sitting with a friend, listening to their music and singing along to the words from the album cover.

I am very sad to hear the news of the death of a former Abba drummer. May he rest in peace. I have enjoyed Abba's music for 35 yrs. I love them. Dagmar FourBears, I found the photo odd too. The CNN site has a photo of Brunkert with their article. A photo of ABBA would make more sense if he was actually in the photo. However, I do find this outpouring of concern for his death very heartwarming. Personally I never heard of him. He was a session musician and they usually don't get the credit they are due. I am glad to see people cared this much.
