The Chinese white-handed gibbon has been declared extinct. The remarkable ape roamed the forests of China's Yunnan province for many thousands of years before succumbing to the destruction of its forest home and uncontrolled hunting. It was last seen in 1988 and last heard in 1992. The extinction was declared by a Swiss scientific team that recently searched all Chinese forests where the subspecies was seen in the past 20 years. There's a faint hope, but no evidence, that it may be holding on in adjacent Burma (Myanmar). GOODBYE 2 ANOTHER SPECIES AND ANOTHER BLOCK REMOVED FROM OUR ECO SYSTEM. A SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS AS OTHERS DRAW NEARER 2 THE SAME FATE. AS GO OUR WILDLIFE, SO FOLLOWS MAN ! WAT A SHAME. ANOTHER SPECIES LOST, RIV.

The things that will destroy us are:
politics without principle;
pleasure without conscience;
wealth without work;
knowledge without character;
business without morality;
science without humanity;
and worship without sacrifice.

I can not for the life of me think of a sane or logical reason or purpose we serve on this earth........Can you?

PLANT TREES FOR LIFE.....................

When will mankind learn?? When?? When will our leaders impose changes, even if they are negative for the economy. When will they make decisions with nature and animals in mind? When?

I think it's time to end the P.C. gloved-hand dealings with poachers and rogue nations that refuse to honor moritoria on hunting and / or killing (by any means) animals that are endangered. Whether gorrillas, whales, various disappearing monkeys, marine mammals, or birds, those found violating a worldwide standard 9regardless of whether all nations sign any controlling document) should be dealt with in the same way they deal with the animals in question. Moreover, agencies, industries, and nations that refuse to protect the world and its ecosystem should become object lessons for others tempted to do damage beyond repair (such as helping to drive animal species to extinction). People's Star Chamber, where are you?
