Of course the House would pass this - it is controlled by Repugs who want to control the people! The Senate better not pass this, but, Obama said he would veto it anyway. They may as well kill it and save time and money!

Why are OUR Washington leaders so keen on taking away precious American freedoms? What are they hiding?

41 Democrats voted to take away privacy rights!

Corporate America and their bought and paid for Congress is behind all of this usurping of our rights. America's Shame! She's been sold out to the company store. What you are doing in Washington with all this abusive legislation IS treasonous.

These pernicious actions are not even remotely constitutional. They are CRIMINAL! And as such should be treated as such Please sign PETITION!

This is the letter I sent the Senators.

I urge you to reject CISPA and any and all other cyber security legislation that fails to respect civil liberties and Internet users' privacy.

If CISPA passes, your children and your grandchildren will also pay the price of ruptured freedoms.

Receiving money and power for self alone will not give you the happiness you seek.

Receiving while accepting the responsibility to share with those who once trusted you enough to vote you into office will give you that happiness.

What goes around comes around.

There was at least one Dmocrat who co-sponsored it. Americans have to get a grip and stop picking teams and blaming the opposing team for bad legislation when in reality it takes both sides to pass this garbage.
As far as obama vetoing it...HA! What a joke. He is grandstanding for an election year. people see it on TV and that is all they see, him "outraged" by this legislation. What they don't hear or see is Obama signing it inot law.
he said he would veto the NDAA and signed it into law without batting an eyelash. Obama is the most intrusive and bloodthirsty President we've had the misfortune to deal with as of yet.
he does not desreve our trust, our faith and certainly not our vote.

I wonder what the final vote was, and how many Dems. voted against this bill. This would be a strong indicator that Obama is losing the support of his own party.

42 Democrats voted yes and 140 voted no. You can see how many Dums and Repugs votes yes and no and see how your Rep voted here.
Of course my Dum in GA, being ever so pathetic, voted Aye.

'1984, knockin' at your door, will you let it come, will you let it run your life?'

Do you really want to live in a 'Brave New World'? Should Big Brother watch our every move? I don't think so, and I won't support pols who vote for this piece of un-American garbage! We should permanently scrap CISPA, SOPA, ACTA, PIPA, OPEN, and DMCA!

I sure hope the world ends in December. It's like American liberty has gone into some sort of black hole in the universe, never to be seen again. The twirling sound is our forefathers spinning in their graves.

Business, is the main culprit behind all this. Did you ever wonder how they always seem to come up with so much of your personal information, and why? Data mining is pure gold to the big advertising and marketing companies.
