Kamal Saleem is widely known to be a fraud. Yet he's being presented by the Family Research Council as the real deal and appears next to Ryan on the featured speakers page, with "former terrorist" under his name. And this man is running for Vice President

Along with reading the writings on this, watch this mans video on this link at the bottom. They call him a former terrorist, but I think he just found a new group to have joined. The extreme right wing is pretty terrifying to me.

People like this are just plain crazy, mentally deficient. The people who pay any attention to, or believe their rants are equally crazy. It is not people that have faith or belief in 'God' that I have a problem with, it is the people who don't use the brain God gave them that are the problem.

These two are quite a pair. This level of ignorance and dishonesty is downright scary. There are people who actually buy into this stuff in the name of religion. It's scary that people like this are taken seriously. Thanks Dandelion.

Another reason to be sure that President Obama has another term. The alternative is unbearable. Just the thought of people like this in charge of anything in our government would be a travesty of major proportions. A vote for a third party is a vote for the likes of the crazies. We really need to purge our government of these rightwing nuts. Some just plain need to be arrested and charged with treason, especially Bachman. She talks about enemies of America, well SHE is an enemy of Americans. Now we know a part of why these people are so crazy. Thanks for the post, my friend.

Michelle Bachmann is such a tool. This inept, silly woman is not even aware of the harm she is doing.

For those not connected to me on C2, I also put on another story that will help explain in part why these people act in certain ways. Watch this video, then read the information on the link below. We are in serious trouble people with the likes of these in our Government.

They're both FRAUDS, so in some sick and ironic way, their images really do belong together.

Very true, I just hope that the majority of the American public can see it for that. Otherwise this Con game will have worked fine and we played right into their hands.

I'm pretty confident that the majority of the voting public has seen through the masquerade of both romney and ryan and shows their contempt for their charade in November.

Paul Ryan shares billing with 'former terrorist' at fringe conference

Rachel Maddow reports on how misunderstanding and wild conspiracy theories are fomenting violent public outbursts across the Middle East, and notes that Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan is scheduled to speak at a conference featuring right wing conspiracy theorists and is billed alongside a self-described "former terrorist."

Again, I sure hope so Edwin, I sure hope so. The numbers in the polls are still awful close. Yes, I saw that piece that Rachel did, she is awesome, does her homework and puts it all together in an understandable format. Good to see you back Robert, hope your trip went well.

The republican base has been told about the lies....and know all the frailities of RYAN AND ROMNEY and THEY DON"T CARE. R&R are both republicans and that's all that matters to their base.

Thank you Dandi. Yes, it gets worse and worse but I can't imagine anyone thinking it won't. I anticipate much more insanity. This is just more of the same. When your first started promoting Anderson I read everything possible as we need to begin TO MAKE A CHANGE. Throw out the baggage and begin anew. I know it won't happen in my lifetime, but I was ready to make a stand. I am too worried these idiots will buy the election, and as not one person I know or one news channel I watch even mentions the Justice Party. I am voting for the least of the liars (IMO) and am volunteering 24/7 at the DNC as we FINALLY have an office. I am terrified of throwing my vote away and voting Dem...THIS VIDEO HAS ME SHAKING, as well as the R/R ticket. I am in such conflict over this. All I know is I fear if the RePUKElaCONS win this election.

What saddens me are the young people who remain unaware of the threat to their future...and worse, appallingly apathetic about voting to keep the religious control freaks out of power.
Until I ask if they would like to live under Taliban rule......I don't see the difference between the two fanatical factions.
I agree TerrieWilliams, some of my thoughts are better left unsaid too

I am not an American citizen and I don't have the right to vote but I,as well as,all the world know how far the whole world will be affected if this or that candidate wins.In my opinion 12 years under the republicans, since the end of the second term of Bill Clinton in the white house, were and still are enough to convince the American that they need Democrats as a way out of the mess they have been through during the 12 years which ended with an economic crisis at 2008 democrats are not 100% responsible for. Let us not forget that gw Bush and company limited took America from Afghanistan to Iraq under false allegation specially in the case of Iraq where thousands were killed and trillions of dollars were spent to benefit only corporation specially those connected to Cheney and other republicans in the first place.
Although we had great hopes in Obama and the change he promised to lead in US foreign policy in the middle east and were later disappointed specially regarding the Palestinian question which is the key to better relationship between Muslims and Arabs on one side and USA on the other side, yet we understand the pressure that Obama had been subject to by pro Israel lobbies . At least Obama ,so far, didn't get involved in attacking Iran to destroy a possible Iranian nuclear war heads neglecting the already existing Israeli nuclear war heads.
The success of Republicans in November 2012 means more tension ,more wars under religious flags from USA to be faced with the same war and so instead of stopping war and starting building peace in the middle east a new wave of violence against USA interest may start as a response to the crusader's war of the republicans.( read Kissinger's latest views).
YES if I were American I would reelect OBAMA

Onward christian soldiers" - although I'm Atheist, this would be offensive to many of my christian, jewish and islamic friends - I tend to agree with Maher in regard to mythicists!

Susanne, I more than understand your fears of "if the Republicans get in" for I too have that fear. I'm a woman, I've a daughter and granddaugher and would not like them living in a world in which they would have control over. Those who ran our Country into the ground had help from the Democratic party, by them either going along, doing some of the same things, like Clinton removed the Glass-Steagal Act, or not standing up enough, remaining too silent, and for me it's too little too late from them now.

The Republicans, well, I could never go along with followers of Any Rand or those who rub shoulders with former terrorist. I do believe people can change, but in this case I see it the same way as Lee does. He has just joined another terrorist group. I can't support a Party that is filled with hate against others simply because they do not follow this crazy doctrine they have emersed themselves into. They get crazier by the month, and I'm in hopes of give them enough rope......and well you know how the rest of it goes.

So many of you will vote Democrat, and I can't fault you there for that. However some of us are paving the path for a new Party to come on board, the Justice Party. There comes a time in history where one just has to leave the well worn trial and carve a new direction, and we don't expect everyone to see that, at least not now when fear of the greater evil is in front of them.

I just have hopes that the Republican Party will emplode or maybe it will become the obsolete 3rd Party for the few fringe extremist on the right, and perhaps instead we can have two Parties that offer some good choices. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to select between the two goods for a change? But we can't get the Justice Party to be that 2nd Party if it is not supported and is not helped and pushed along. Otherwise we keep having this same scenario play out each 4 years with the same people saying, you must vote for the lessor of 2 evils.

I'm done with that, I'm beyond it, I'm working for a better tomorrow with a Party that isn't taking Corporate monies and is working for The People, because it is We the People who are behind this Justice Party and the Anderson Rodriquez ticket. We are not beholden to the Corporations the Banksters, we are beholden to ourselves, and one day, perhaps you'll join us, for now I'm already on board.

Baffling to me. Also confounding is why the media isn't screaming that Ayn Rand was an atheist---in complete opposite to the RepubliConservative evangelical fundamentalists.

This is the whole thing about them, is the conflicting ways they think, I guess that is why Romney is so good at his flip flopping, it becomes easy for them to walk with total conflicting information but somehow it seems to fit for them. I use to wonder how the KKK would speak about Jesus, burn crosses, yet at the same time hate others so badly that were not of the same faith or skin color.....how can that be? Yet to them it seems to make sense.

Paul Ryan is proof of what we've known about Republicans for a long, long time. They will do whatever it takes, no matter how much it hurts our country, in order to win. The one thing they can't overcome is the American people. We will no longer be deceived by the politics of fear and hate.

Oh my Goodness Dandelion, I just came back to retract my statement (re: voting for Obama) after receiving your personal message to me. Oh well! To clarify, it is TIME FOR CHANGE. I will work for the DNC, strictly on a local and state level. IT IS TIME FOR CHANGE!
