It's 2013 and the world did not end by meteorite or by Mayan calendar. But fear not: we might just be able to get the job done ourselves. Join Robert Foster as he sets out to discover where Civilisation(TM) is making the fastest progress towards annihilation

This is very well done, and very true. When we humans occupy territories away from our origins, it seems like we act upon the new land as invasive species do when they are introduced into new ecosystems. In the plant kingdom, or in animal species (besides ourselves), such as kudzu, zebra mussels, or the Asian snakehead fish, the exotic species takes over and decimate the indigenous species. I have for many years thought that we may be an alien species. The Earth may just extinguish us before we extinguish it.

"Stolen Wealth & Land Theft = the Commonwealth" -- a gem!!

A brilliant little video! How do you find these things, Dandelion? I'm in awe! Was this on the Idle No More site, is that how you found it? Is Robert Foster a famous comedian in Canada & the States?

I love the humorous take on this grave issue -- who is doing the most to detroy what's left of Mother Earth, "ignite the apocalypse" and bring about the end of life on the planet?

Great - a contest! What better to interest our fellow earthmates?

But there's a potential contestant whose works in this great mission have been entirely overlooked: the US & the use of Depleted Uranium weapons in Afghanistan, but mostly Iraq, where the city of Fallujah is condemned to the highest rates of infant mortality & worse, infant malformations & deformities of horrendous proportion. With the genetic mutations being the consequence of the use of DU armaments & the cause of these deformities, genetic havoc will have been visited on both the present and many future generations in one fell swoop. Bravo! This is award-winning stuff!

Love the foreign correspondents!

Thanks for posting. Humor is often a good way to get people to pay attention to things that are very serious. I agree with Judy C - we humans act like an invasive species. Specifically, it seems, that many of the white European heritage folks act like an invasive species. Seems as if many of the Aboriginal populations have more respect for the land and its inhabitants.

Hilarious video. Kudos to those three young men! I love how they show how destructive human beings are, and killing Mother Earth bit by bit.
We all should listen to the Aboriginals and North American Indians. They honoured Mother Earth.
Thank you Danelion.

Acually Birgit, this is the same person, Robert Foster, is he good. He certainly gets the point across and he changes his character so well that he does look like other people.

Thank ladies for watching, I had to share when I stumbled upon this, thanks for your comments.

To answer the question posed by Lucy with the beautiful eyes.....I actually thought that Robert Foster was his real name but it's the characters name. My bad. This is information I found on the actual people behind the video itself. I stumbled over the video by accident and was too good not to share.

Hugo Farrant is Juice Rap News’s lyricist and fills the role of the amiable Juice Rap News anchorman, Robert Foster – as well as many of the guests who appear on the show. Hailing from Branksome in the UK, Hugo is a prolific rhymer and orator, MC and spoken-word poet who regularly graces the stages and festivals of Melbourne. Having spent 8+ years rhyming and rapping, he now co-rhymes/writes Juice Rap News.

Giordano Nanni is Juice Rap News’s writer & editor (occasionally, supporting actor), and is responsible for the critiques and philosophies explored by Robert Foster, and many of the other characters on the show. With a background in history, music and media, Giordano is the instigator of a number of projects spanning theatre, print and the internets – including ~TheJuiceMedia, which he established in 2008.

The collaboration of mind and body between Hugo and Giordano is embodied in the character of Robert Foster, Juice Rap News’s affable anchorman, whose retro outfits and biting critiques of current affairs have earned him respect in the whisical world of news satire.

Indeed DU is something that isn't spoken about enough, I know I've placed a couple stories on as did Just C. but I appreciate you bringing this to the forefront. We like to think that the war in Iraq is over, for others it only continues on. We also pay a price, economically my grandchild will still be paying for this, our soldiers coming home were exposed also to DU, the legacy of what we left behind will be remembered in a negative way for generations to come by those in Iraq, how could it not.

Thanks for the answers, Dand'heryl (that started out as a mistake, but I improved on it!)

Yes, I should have said that US soldiers, too, were contaminated by DU armaments. Is anyone keeping track of birth defects & malformations in their offspring? VA Hospitals SHOULD be, but they don't do maternity, I imagine, for soldiers' or ex-soldiers' wives. It will be very difficult to keep track of the genetic mutation issue, with the wives giving birth in different places all of the States.

We are indigenous to planet Earth and should love it.

Some indigenous peoples are waiting for the colonizers to burn themselves out so they can have their lands back.

Unfortunately, fossil fuel burning and extraction may burn us all up.

Hi, Dandelion. I haven't been able to get to the computer much at all lately, but I just found an article that made me think of this post of yours immediately: How to destroy the future

Has Hugo Farrant inspired Noam Chomsky or is Noam Chomsky copying Hugo Farrant? From the Guardian's comment pages, an article by Noam Chomsky written June 4th, well after the video of Farrant you posted! -- "How to destroy the future: From the Cuban missile crisis to a fossil fuels frenzy, the US is intent on winning the race to disaster"

Thanks Lucy with the beautiful eyes, Noam Chomsky has been around for awhile and he is certainly read. I just wish more would read his writings.

Actually I'm surprised we haven't done ourselves in by now, imagine I got to this age. I've had little faith in the way things are done since the Viet Nam days when the lies were starting to be shown to us. I grew up, as did you, with not knowing who I sat in class with was going to be in their final days of life. The draft was on, and unless you were connected, like a Mitt Romney, you were going over there.

I've seen how little our leadership cares about it's own, has grown worse through the years, so if it doesn't care about us, I'm certain that others are thought even less about. And behind the Leaders are other players that are not elected that have plenty of say.

As with anything, it depends what Country one lives in what indoctrination they are going to receive. We need people like Noam Chomsky to pull out all of the historical records so that the full picture is there so we can make better decisions. Unfortunate, even when the Truth is presented there are too many that won't take the time to read it and if they do many will not believe it. So we remain in this onward motion of meeting our demise one way or the other.

I fear for my children and granddaughter, my years are fewer, and it only grows more uncertain each year what is happening around us all. I do what I can, love my family while I can. More people need to take part and learn of what is taking place.
