Lawrence Lessig is not only an esteemed Harvard professor, a best-selling author, and a visionary political activist. He explains in easy to understand ways how our system, history, and today's politics have us where we are and how to fix it. Brilliant.

There is a Take Action on the link next to the video as well as a May Day Call on this link below. If we Unify and stand as one we can also have influence.
May Day SOS May Day

It came out earlier and I already saw it, just missed posting it, though because it was so close in time to your other post then. It IS fantastic, I agree! He always breaks things down for everyone to understand. Thx Sheryl.

I watched the video and wish he offered something we don't know but we do know. I do appreciate his efforts and his reliance on fact, that is refreshing. We know our government is sold to the highest bidder, we know that there are no safety stops, we know that things have turned from bad to worse. This does stem from deregulation and the Supremes selling us all down the river in the Citzens United decision and every decision that has followed. I joined Represent Us some time back when it was new.

I realize for some Kit, this may be old news and we are moving down the road further, but there are still people on C2 just trying to wrap their minds around this or are new to the politics having either just retired and now have the time, or realizing they are getting screwed so are trying to figure out the why's and how's.

I also placed this on here so that people will get a better feel as to who Lawrence Lessig is as some may not be familiar with him even if they already understand what is going on. The link to the other news submission is asking for a donation to what he is promoting so I want to be able to offer the readers something to go along with that fundraiser request.

Thanking anyone who is taking the time to view this submission and the May Day SOS call.

Very good presentation by Lessig. I hope people will watch it in order to get to know him. I met him in DC in 2011. He is 100% for real! And he is absolutely dedicated to getting our government back.

June there is lots about Lawrence Lessig and what he is doing on the Internet already. Just place his name into a search engine and a lot will come up.

Thank you from my Heart and half my gizzard for this BRILLIANT video Dandelion. I have been watching for hours, as I have to take notes to recall and retain. THIS IS SO BRILLIANT, and so appreciated. I will definitely be forwarding the news letter you sent with this included, as there is a deadline re: another issue that has less then a week to achieve signatures. I won't get off topic, you'll just have to read on your own.
Back to this BRILLIANT and "easy to understand "ways how our system, history, and today's politics have us where we are and how easy to fix it" by academic Lawrence Lessig. I hope you find it important to take less then an hour out of your day to view this. Rather then write a novel about the many notes I wrote I will just say a couple of lines that will hopefully get your attention.
WE ARE CLUELESS~ which is sad as the PATTERN has proceeded most of us.
"Our Constitution embraces the Anti-Aristocratic ideal of GUARANTEEING RIGHTS to participate~ enjoyed EQUALLY by rich and poor alike....men and women...black and white". DO YOU SEE A DISCONNECT YET?
...The funders are NOT the people... I forget the exact stats, but WAY LESS then the 1%
...Corruption?
We need "to get a clue" to stop the immorality and indignity.
I hope my cliffhanger will challenge people to take a few minutes of their day to watch this video, especially if you are not a History professor or have become apathetic due to not believing KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. Maybe you believe there is no HOPE. I vacillate about that very belief CONSTANTLY. I will not give up, ever AGAIN!
