Starting at 23 minutes on this film is shows how very sad it is for the people living in rural parts of this Country now which will only be made worse. Parents having to park cars on top of a hill, next to a busy road, in front of an abandoned building, so their children can do their homework. The only place they can reach the internet from their lap tops. The big Corporations preventing locals from building their own internet service.

Eventually, they want to make the net just like cable TV. Where you pay for access to different packages which they control, Dandelion.

I'm now looking for local ISPs and intend to give up television and cable from Time-Warner. The only power we have is hitting them in the pocketbook. I'm so angry I'm speechless. Thanks, Dandelion.

Yes, the White House Petition site isn't to user friendly. They keep upping the amount of signatures to even look at it and has made it hard to impossible to get back on if you have lost the ability to do so. I can't get back into it; but I did place the link here for those who still can.

Unfortunately Ros, you and some others saw it coming, but not enough paid attention. I've always felt, if you do it to the largest economy, the USA, the other Countries will fall into place. I don't want others to experience this but if that TPP comes on board along with the TTIP with Europe we can all kiss our standard of living goodbye.

NAFTA has been a killer for us over here in USA and I've heard the others will be NAFTA on steroids. Many are already in the forefront telling us over here that if we think we are suffering now or have it bad now this will be looked at as the "good ole days". They know that the internet has been a way for people to converse and learn from each other, if one depended on the TV news and news print only we'd be up the creek without a paddle. We are already sitting in a leaking canoe and if the internet is removed from us the know it will cause us to sink further.

Thanks to those who took the time to view the video, sometimes humor and satire can get a point across even better than dry reading. However I can get the message out I'm trying and I thank a few others on C2 for doing their part, I just wish more people would view these important news submissions. This impacts every other bit of life that they are doing now, they need to understand that.

A lot of us are having issues with the White House Petition site. I guess they thought it wouldn't be used so often. I suppose one way to phase us out, just make it impossible to get into the site after a time.
