Recently we've seen political interests interfere in discussions about women's health and health care. First, they tried to punish insurance companies for providing women with safe access to pregnancy prevention. Then, they tried to cut critical funding for cancer screenings and nutritional support for low-income families. Next, Susan G. Komen stopped funding to Planned Parenthood based on pressure from conservatives within the organization.

What's next?

These attacks on women's health care are vile, selfish, and misguided — more importantly they are the result of partisan politics and personal interests. Women should not suffer because of the inability of our legislators to see past their own stake and work toward the good of the whole.

Help stop this war on women. Sign our petition and stand in solidarity for women's health today.

I resent the arrogance of a group of men who think they know better than I--or my doctor--what is best for me. Our female forebears fought hard for many rights: the right to vote--and the right to think for themselves. I will not give up these rights without another fight. Bet'cher a** I signed!

When women start rebelling, I mean really rebelling, the planet will feel the pressure.
The POWER & CONTROL conservatives will feel it the most. It may even surprise the conservative women, that they are finally becoming _adults_.

You have to ___love___ the self-assured, intelligent men who appreciate, secure intelligent women. Those of us who know the truth, realize that, only the REAL MEN comprehend what I am saying.
Thank heavens, that many of those of which I speak, contribute to this site. I wish I knew you all.

The war on women, will stop, ONLY WHEN, women decide, collectively, that it should.
As long as women decide that they are second-class citizens, nothing will change.
It's quite simple.

Kudos Charlene ~ I have friends that believe they are second class to their husbands, fathers, etc. They are berated and demeaned into believing they are so lucky to have these men running their lives. I have had men in my life who have either treated me like or a doormat or a goddess and I have to say I prefer the latter. Give me a man who treats me and all women with respect any day!

If they take away our right to choice they will start taking every right, one by one ~ our ability buy a house on our own, have a credit card, vote, etc. ~ and I'll be damned if they're doing it without a fight!

Perhaps you have noticed that choice and the freedom to choose has many applications. Have you and your group pestered your legislator today? How are you helping other groups choose. Do you know where some of the opposition is coming from and why?

Unfortunately Gina C this is what happens when the world gets desensitized..dumb-downed, numbed, etc when a Society becomes so self's not just the men, it's women too and the only thing that pulls them out of their inertia is when it happens to one of their own..until then a lot of people are really convinced that these experts are right.

Dandelion G. (386)
Wednesday April 24, 2013, 6:03 am
Aho to that Beverly, "I'll be damned if they're doing it without a fight!"

But the fight is for the Women to regain their inner Strength in order to understand that it is as simple as that. A woman who doesn't realize that she has Power fails to use it for she fails to see it.

Women have a lot of Power but they are taught in this Dominent Culture not to use that Power.

In the strutures that are set up, most Churches have Men at the head of the church and in marriage of these two beings it is the Women that is told to submit her Power over to the Male, although female teachers may fill the positions in lower levels of education once into High School and College more Men are seen, most of the places where Women will work it is run and controled by Men, and most seats in Government are still head by Men.

It is certainly understandable in a Patriarchal Society that Women conscious or otherwise do not feel their Power.

This is why I hold a Womens Circle to offer the teachings that the Women use to have in native society that was based a matralineal ways of living and thinking.

People like Charlene Rush who taps into that energy should along with a lot of other Women who are assured within themselves start their own Womens Circles. You may not know of the native teachings but you have as Women an inherited energy of "being" Women and the Life Bearers. Don't use that angry to be mean but use that anger to become involved, educated, empower each other and to support one another. It is amazing what can come out of Circles where all Women meet either monthy or weekly.

We need Women Circles across this land! In the past Women, in Domient Culture, use to meet for things like a Quilting Bee, that was a good thing for women sat around the quilt and talked, laughed, cried, sharing their knowledge and energies with each other.

I do not have Men at the Womens Circle, this is a time for us, the female energies to connect with each other. If a man is around, he is helping the Women, making our Fire before the Circle, keeping food dishes warm or chilled until our Circle is Closed. He is not within the Circle and stays away from it, once done he is asked to share our food but he brings it to another part of the house or to another part of the yard until we are finished, then he joins us. We only do this IF men are around because they either live at the house we meet or drove a woman to the Circle. This is not done in a mean way, the asking of the men to stay away, we call it a Women Circle so we keep it that way.

You will be surprised at how embracing, how much energy is emmulated out of these Circles that can be applied to your daily life as well as to the health of this Country.

For Charlene you were correct, it's not till the Women all STand Up and Say.......ENOUGH! For these bruts of Men to Stand Down and Stop this wholesale Destructive living that is going on. Indeed thank goodness for the likes of the John Trudells across this Nation and in other parts of the world. But they alone can't help us but to be supportive of us, they join our energies but WE, as WOMEN, must take our rightful place upon this Earth.

Let the Spirit Live

Material Addiction

See The Woman

Really listen and think on what John Trudell speaks in these 3 videos. He is a man that understands women and men and their place of balance and that balance that allows all of us to be able to live upon the ultimate Woman, our Mother Earth, without destroying her. You see Patriarchal thinking and living without the balance is destructive, we must have Balance. Start those Circles Women......please.

Women can make THEIR OWN decisions on what is best for them and their body. They DO NOT need some special interest P.O.S. telling them what to do or "what is best for them" (correct translation is what makes these special interest vermin the MOST MONEY). Women are the one's who give birth to EVERYONE and that includes the ones that think they know better than women,it is pretty self explanatory! Stop abusing women! PERIOD! STOP IT,STOP IT,STOP IT! NO EXCUSES!

Everyone please see the comment by Gina C. I checked that out and it is disgusting, most definitely signed/noted!
Also thank Dandelion G for putting a link in her comment/reply to Gina C. that will take you to the petition Gina C mentions. Those who disgrace/abuse women, not only harm them, but they also give a bad name to all decent men. Of all of the problems in the world, this should NOT still be one of them.

While I'm a man and a big supporter of women, I think it's time that men should be allowed no say in women's health and rights unless they're the woman's doctor and the decision is reached by informed agreement,. No man should be allowed to write legislation affecting women's rights. But if that's allowed, then women should be allowed to do invasive tests on men before they can get prostate treatment or ED medication. Turnabout is fair play after all.
