The Education for All Act would put the full power of the U.S. government behind helping all girls and boys get back in the classroom.

Get girls back in the classroom
More than 32 million girls are out of school, according to the World Bank. Women, in turn, make up 65 percent of the nearly 1 billion people who cannot read or write.

Every girl forced out of the classroom is a girl we have failed.

The Education for All Act would put the full power of the U.S. government behind helping all girls and boys get back in the classroom.

Please tell your Representative that you can't wait for them to co-sponsor the Education for All Act, not when so many young children are losing their chance to learn.

The Message:

I'm writing as a constituent and as a supporter of the poverty fighting organization CARE.

Please co-sponsor H.R. 2780, the Education for All Act, reintroduced this year by Rep. Nita Lowey (D-NY) and Rep. Dave Reichert (R-WA).

Today, there are 57 million young children and 69 million adolescents who are kept from getting an education. More than half of them are girls.

No country has been able to reach sustained economic growth without achieving near universal primary education. Unfortunately, that hasn't been possible for millions, particularly girls in remote or poor areas, child laborers, those with disabilities, victims of sex trafficking, and children who are orphaned or impacted by HIV/AIDS.

I strongly urge you to co-sponsor the Education for All Act to help address that injustice and help create a more secure, economically strong world.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

You just sent a letter to your Representative about making sure that all children, even those who live in poverty or in a crisis region, have a place in a classroom.
