Armed wildlife rangers on Tuesday night fanned out across eastern Kenya in pursuit of ivory poachers who killed an entire family of 12 elephants in the country's worst single such slaughter since the 1980s. Tragic, tragic. AnimalActionWORLD

Probably Muslims looking for funding to buy weapons, this along with the sale of drugs is their way of funding terrorism.

I am deeply saddend by their terrible deaths, elephants are incredible animals with great intelligence and deep emotions.

I agree . . . "It is unimaginable, a heinous, heinous crime." Greed vs respect and reverence for life. If we don't begin to respect life on this planet, we will become extinct, too.

This is massacre beyond belief. I would like to take every ivory dealing, ivory buying pos and blow them off the planet. These monsters are guilty of crimes against the whole planet and as such against all of us. When are the authorities everywhere going to help the rangers

Agree Jan. And the buyers of the Ivory are the new rich in Russia and China. And they are very , very rich and not interested in animals. Fur and Ivory is big business there.
