Hassan Golbankhan and Rev Guards chiefs

DEBKAfile reveals one of the CIAís most dramatic scoops in many years, and epic disaster for Iran. Our most exclusive Iranian and intelligence sources disclose that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejadís personal cameraman, Hassan Golkhanban, who defected from his UN entourage in New York on Oct. 1, brought with him an intelligence treasure trove of up-to-date photographs and videos of top Iranian leaders visiting their most sensitive and secret nuclear and missile sites.

The cameraman, who is in his 40s, is staying at an undisclosed address, presumably a CIA safe house under close guard.

He stayed behind when Ahmadinejad, after his UN speech, departed New York with his 140-strong entourage. For some years, Golkhanban worked not just as a news cameraman but personally recorded visits by the Iranian president and supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei of top-secret nuclear facilities and Revolutionary Guards installations.

When he left Tehran in the presidentís party, his luggage was not searched and so he was able to bring out two suitcases packed with precious film and deliver it safely into waiting hands in New York.

The Iranian cameraman has given US intelligence the most complete and updated footage it has ever obtained of the interiors of Iranís top secret military facilities and various nuclear installations, including some never revealed to nuclear watchdog inspectors. Among them are exclusive interior shots of the Natanz nuclear complex, the Fordo underground enrichment plant, the Parchin military complex and the small Amir-Abad research reactor in Tehran.

Some of the film depicts Revolutionary Guards and military industry chiefs explaining in detail to the president or supreme leader the working of secret equipment on view. Golkhanban recorded their voices.

Our sources also disclose that, in late September, he took the precaution of sending his wife and two children out of Iran on the pretext of a family visit to Turkey. They are most likely on their way to the United States by now.

From his years as a member of the loyal Bassij militia, the cameraman earned the complete trust of Iranís security services and was able to reach his professional pinnacle as personal photographer for the two most eminent figures in the country, Khamenei and Ahmadinejad, with the task of recording their most confidential pursuits.

This was his second visit to New York. The first time, a year ago, US intelligence was able to make contact and persuade him to defect with his stock of priceless photos and film.

Although Golkhanbanís defection to the United States and request for asylum was disclosed to the media some days ago, Tehran has not made any comment.

It's an interesting development but it's not going to stop these nutcases getting nuclear weapons.Short of military action nothing is.

I agree with you Stan! If anything I think something like this will only infuriate them more!! I just hope this man and his family are taken good care of and protected to the max!

Carol tut tut tut. We all know that Ahmadinejad has denied developing nuclear weapons and that he has allowed inspectors in everwhere they have asked as soon as they asked. It is all Zionist propaganda.......

Or have I got that the wrong way around?

I'd love to see Mossad take advantage of it and destroy all the revealed facilities but minimise impact on uninvolved citizens. Hopefully this isn't a sham and those frauds Khamenei and Ahmadinejad get assassinated.

What a sham, a CIA / Mosad paid and possibly trained man brings some information that can be taken as something the Iranians wanted. This could be any other facility BUT if this was nuclear then SO WHAT?
Do the Zionists not have loads of nukes? They are being supplied, financed and protected by the good old US and given the license to stockpile the most deadly arms and use them indiscriminately on innocent men, women and children. This is not allowed for Iranians because they do not control US politics, finances, media and foreign policy which AIPAC and Zionists of US and Isreal control.

Leave Iranians alone and don't attack and destroy another nation on false pretences. Have US not spilled enough innocents blood already and destroyed its own people too?

This is the Debka news site, an arm of Mossad. The now retired Mossad officer is against attacking Iran as are most high ranking Israelis military..I will wait for more verification by a validated news sources to report it. I have not found any other news sources reporting this and they certainly would be on it if there was any truth to this story. So far it looks like a sham to get certain people riled up.. Rumors move fast over the Internet. And war whores eager to go to war with Iran would certainly jump on this story..

Another thought! Why would Iran's leaders take a photographer to take pictures of a site that is to remain secret? Common sense dictates!

It's not about nukes Absduliaziz it's about gr$$d and the stealing of more resources. America had better get her priorities in order, tell Israel to back down, and begin to invest in alternative energy sources. It's what most level headed Americans want.

With all the satellite photos and spy drones flying over Iran as well as Israels spy's all over the place, if there were a secret site it would be uncovered by now and I agree with you about Israels hypocrisy. Israel will not even allow inspectors in to see their nuclear facilities.. Why NOT?

The war whores are, as usual, on the march..Henry Kissinger certainly believes we should not begin a war with Iran. All leaders and intelligent folks say it's a bad idea. Iran, even if they had one, would be foolish to use a nuclear weapon. And I, for one, do not believe that this nation is that crazy.

This is BS, the cameraman is shooting a "sniper rifle". Maybe the Mossad has an underground train from Israel to Iran's "SECRET" nuclear missile too. Wake up folks, think about it ;)

Looks like Romney and Ryan are rubbing off on the zionist-Massad.

You cannot send a star to Barbara W. since you sent one within the past week....but stars to Barbara! The people in these countries do not want war. They want their leaders to calm down and find a way to peace. The 1% makes tons of $$$ promoting and participating in these wars. The rest of us are the losers.

That sweet little 2 yr. old playing with Legos said it all, "PEACE BUILDS. WAR DESTROYS."

Also..Stan B.."t's an interesting development but it's not going to stop these nutcases getting nuclear weapons.Short of military action nothing is".

Remember..the only nutcases who have dropped the atomic bomb..twice for good the US.

This article explains exactly why the US is so intent on destroying Iran:

I hope it's true, but I have not heard it on any other news source, so until I do, I will take it as rumor. But, at least it would prove that the people of Iran don't want war anymore than we do. No nukes...ever! We used it ti stop a war and the slaughter of an entire race of people. Not saying it was right, but neither was genocide.

Iranian Photographer Seeks Asylum in the USA

Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad came to the US last week but it appears that his entire delegation didnít return to Iran. Ahmadinejadís photographer is reported to have filed the paperwork to seek asylum and remain in the United States. According to U.S law, once youíve filed for asylum, you can legally remain within the country until a decision is made.
The photographerís reason for asylum is due to his political stance with his own government. During his trip with the Iranian president, he claimed that his superiors were pressuring him to photograph things he was not comfortable with. In the eyes of the Iranian officials, his lack of compliance means he is siding with the U.S. instead of Iran. This potentially puts he and his family in danger.

While the specific whereabouts of the photographer remain unknown, it does appear that the decision was premeditated. The family of the photographer fled Iran before the paperwork was filed and are reportedly attempting to come the U.S. as well.

Don't know what to make out of this, many defectors were proven to be spies. We will never know the real truth, maybe this is propaganda and the start of another war ambition like Iraq with fabricated information.

I agree with Klaus - smells like propaganda. Netanyahu and US neocons are hell-bent on a war with Iran so this could be the "smoking gun" they need to achieve their ambitions. Reminds me of Dubya and the WMD. I don't trust any of them.
