ADVANTAGES of Sharia Law!?!? This man is totally insane!! If he thinks there are advantages to Sharia Law then he can move to those Muslim countries and see just how long he lasts!! What a total freaking idiot!!

You do realize that those voices were not there own but were instead dubbed.

Thats not even Al Gore's voice-

But? It wouldn't surprise me- that "idoit, liberal progressive" is NOT welcome in YOUR country, is he Carol?

Good for him! I Glad he chose Al Jazeera over Fox News.

ROFLMAO......Sadly I think that Carol probably didn't realize the whole thing is a fake...which only gives confirmation as to why it is that the rightwings GOP Teabager Klan are our nations weakest link.

Here it comes...Carol's daily dose of garbage media....At least she's choosing the right key words: lies and propaganda. We've told you time and again Carol to post from CREDIBLE SOURCES. You are not helping your cause, just making yourself seven less credibility than ever before.

Hopefully Al will sue the pants off the video creator for libel and distortion...maybe even Carol for propagating such garbage.

And I do get Al Jazeera news on my Kindle and have found it to be pretty darn good.

I don't know what he really said here -- you can't tell from the voice-over -- it's a bit silly and funny at the same time.

The Gore voice imitation isn't bad (it kind of reminds me of "the famous Mr. Ed, the horse is a horse of course.....), and again, silly and funny, and hopefully will be taken in the playful way it is meant to be taken, rather than seriously.

Beth..You are right...I have to say I just saw this and added it on without watching it..but the thought of this traitor who sold his TV station to anyone affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood would be too far over the top!!

OK liberals have your hay day of fun of attacks...one thing you do know well how to do!! I have to hand it to you for that!!

And Nancy if you support this network you are supporting the Muslim Brotherhood and anyone else who does for that matter! If the day ever comes when you can meet face to face with them then tell me how you feel about supporting them! I don't think you will like it! I support every chance I get to stop advertisers from supporting them and the organization that I support is doing very well with it!

Carol. It's a very easy mistake to make when you feel passionate about something.
The reality is that Al Gore would sell his mother if the price was right.
Green star on its way to you.

Nancy M. (202)
Tuesday February 26, 2013, 4:31 pm
Carol, I did not say I supported Al Jazeera, I said it is pretty good. I have read many of its stories which suprised me as being fairly balanced. As for Muslim Broterhood, I have seen no evidence to say that is true. If you have a credible source- show me.

In any case, glad that you now see the issue with this video.

Thanks Stan!! I appreciate your understanding!! That is exactly what it was...today anymore a person doesn't assume it's not true with so many things that are unbelievable to happen happening! And IMO Gore has sold our country out so he can get fatter and richer..too bad we don't hear much about that though from the left!! Thanks again!!

Nancy..If you watch it on a regular basis you are supporting it!!

JERUSALEM – Al Jazeera, which this week announced it purchased Al Gore’s Current TV for $500 million, has a long history of close ties to and support for the Muslim Brotherhood.

Al Jazeera’s founders, themselves close to the Muslim Brotherhood, have long attempted to gain influence in the U.S., including through the financing of Arabic classes in American public schools via a Muslim Brotherhood-linked charity.

Al Jazeera this week announced a plan to establish a new U.S. cable news channel, tentatively call Al Jazeera America, utilizing the purchase of Current TV.

The Qatar-financed network is hoping to retain and even increase Current TV’s distribution rights in more than 40 million homes to broadcast its own new network.

Al Jazeera Director General Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani announced, “By acquiring Current TV, Al Jazeera will significantly expand our existing distribution footprint in the U.S., as well as increase our newsgathering and reporting efforts in America.”

Thani explained the new network seeks to provide domestic and international news for an American audience. Al Jazeera reportedly plans to open new bureaus across the U.S. and increase the network’s staff domestically to over 300 employees.

Al Jazeera has a long history of close ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Yusuf al-Qaradawi, one of the top leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood, rose to fame in the Arab world after Al Jazeera gave him his a major platform. Many regard Qaradawi as the de facto spiritual leader of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood.

Qaradawi achieved star status because of his regular sermons and interviews on Al Jazeera.

The Arab news network strongly supported the revolution against former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and has taken a friendly tone toward the country’s new Muslim Brotherhood leadership.

Al Jazeera was founded with financing from the emir of Qatar, Sheik Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who previously served as the network’s chairman.

The network is still financed largely from Qatar, where its headquarters are located.

The current chairman of Al Jazeera is Sheik Hamad bin Thamer Al Thani, the Qatari emir’s cousin.

WND previously reported an Arabic language program established in several U.S. schools is funded by a Qatar group that maintains close ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, while the group’s founder started the Al Jazeera television network.

The Qatar Foundation International, or QFI, a nonprofit group financed by the government of Qatar, last year gave Harlem’s Hamilton Heights, a K-5 public school, a $250,000 grant to support the Arabic program for three years.

The school’s Arabic language program was reportedly developed by QFI and the Global Language Project.

In addition to the Harlem school, WND found that QFI just awarded “Curriculum Grants” to seven U.S. schools and language organizations to “develop comprehensive and innovative curricula and teaching materials to be used in any Arabic language classroom.”

The schools include Bell High School, a Los Angeles public school, and Safford K-8 in Arizona’s Tucson Unified School District.

QFI, based in Washington, D.C., is the U.S. branch of the Qatar Foundation, founded in 1995 by Qatari ruling emir Sheik Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Al Jazeera founder.

Thani is still the group’s vice-chairman, while his wife, Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, chairs the organization’s board.

In January 2012, the foundation launched the Research Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics under the guidance of Tariq Ramadan, who serves as the center’s director.

Ramadan is the grandson of the notorious founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hassan al Banna. Ramadan was banned from the U.S. until 2010 when the Obama administration issued him a visa to give a lecture at a New York school.

The Qatar Foundation, meanwhile, named several institutions after Qaradawi, one of the top leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood.

The foundation even instituted the Shei Yusuf Al Qaradawi Scholarships and in 2009 established a research center named the Qaradawi Center for Islamic Moderation and Renewal.

Qaradawi has personally attended scores of foundation events, including conferences at which he served as a keynote speaker.

In May, Qaradawi was in the news after he told Egyptian Muslims it was their religious duty to vote for one of three Islamic candidates in the country’s presidential election, describing them as the “best for Egypt” because they will “apply the Islamic Shariah and achieve justice.”

The Investigative Project on Terrorism documents Qardawi openly permitted the killing of American troops in Iraq and praised the “heroic deeds” of “Hamas, Jihad, Al-Aqsa Brigades and others.”

Reports by the London newspaper Al-Sharq Al-Awsat repeated Israeli claims that Qaradawi once served to fund “the heart of Hamas,” the Al-Islam Charity, through his Welfare Coalition.

Now if you are still willing to watch them Nancy after knowing this then..............

I refuse to watch a network who is affiliated with an organization like the Muslim Brotherhood who would just as soon cut your head off as look at you for not converting to Sharia Law! They are sucking up to Americans to get closer to come in for the kill! WAKE UP!!

Carol- I don't watch it- it is not on cable in my area. I do read it and have found it to be factual and detailed without being opinionated. Much like BBC or how CNN used to be.

You have provided a link making a claim that it is linked to Muslim brotherhood. And I WILL look into it more later today. I suspect WND as NOT being factual but more of a blog but I will look into it. As it is nothing I have read indicates any connection to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Don't believe what I add on Nancy..do some research on your own..the truth is out there and they ARE connected! Anyone who can't see that or read it does not want to believe it IMO so of course they won't believe the truth. WND is a very factual news source and is not a blog...I would think you would know the difference! After all they are the ones who broke the Iran Nuclear plant exposure when it exploded!! You call that kind of news source a BLOG!? I think not!

Tommy..Amen to that!! He is just another traitor on the left!!

You're right Carol for mistrusting Al Gore and Al Jazaeera and wanting to expose them for their non-factual incompetency and politicization:

UN researcher reports UN session on Israel that never happened
Published by
Hillel Neuer
- at February 22, 2013 in Human Rights Council (UNHRC).

Nicola Perugini, a UN researcher in the Palestinian territories for UNESCO and UNIFEM (the UN women’s fund), and who has academic positions at Bard College’s Al Quds program and at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, should be removed from his UN and scholarly posts on grounds of utter incompetence.

His Feb. 22 Al Jazaeera article on the latest UNHRC report on Israeli settlements tells us all about a session in January which, in fact, never took place:

“At the end of January, the 22nd session of the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) focused on the ‘Human rights situation in Palestine and other Arab territories’…”
“The session welcomed a report produced by an international fact-finding mission on the implications of the Israeli settlements…”
“The session was a new chapter in the protracted chain of condemnations issued by international bodies against Israel’s violations of human rights and international law…”
Israel “preemptively isolated itself by boycotting this UNHRC session…”
“[T]he session was not good publicity for Israel…”
“[T]he fact that Israel boycotted this 22nd session should not surprise us. Tactics are also a weapon of the state, not merely a weapon of the weak.”

Except Perugini’s session could not have focused on anything, welcomed any report, opened any chapter, been boycotted by anyone, or created any bad publicity for Israel, for the simple reason that it never existed.

Perugini, the expert consultant and researcher in the Palestinian territories for two major UN agencies — including for the UNESCO-funded “Decolonizing Architecture” project that imagines various ways to take apart Israeli settlements — appears to have conflated three completely different things into one giant mush that is a figment of his imagination: (a) the settlements report itself; (b) an unrelated Universal Periodic Review meeting on Israel; (c) and the actual 22nd session of the UNHRC, which begins on Monday, Feb. 25.

The incident underscores the shoddy scholarship and disregard for facts that characterizes much of the anti-Israel propaganda produced by many of the researchers who write UN reports on Israel, including the Goldstone Report.

Will UNESCO and UNIFEM disclose which Palestinian matters have been handled by Perugini? Are they in the least troubled by his politicization and incompetence?

Is this the kind of shoddy scholarship Bard College is trying to promote through its Palestinian summer school?

Nancy..Your loss! If you can't tell the difference between facts and fiction or opinions then you are truly doomed to repeat what other liberals do daily..which is believe the liberal propaganda BS!

Thanks Yonati! Very interesting!! So I ask...how much of this false crap will "eventually" be shown on this Al Jeezera network!? We all know how the Muslims agenda works..sucker the idiots in who WILL believe and a little bit at a time..so they really don't notice..all of the BS lies about Israel and anyone else or anything else they can slip in to poison the weak minds!! That's how they work!

"If you can't tell the difference between facts and fiction or opinions then you are truly doomed to repeat what other liberals do daily..which is believe the liberal propaganda BS! "

This will shock you but it is MY JOB to tell the difference. I did look at WND today and found quite a bit of credible news. Many with links to other sources.

Unfortunately, here at care2, I have seen more often than not it is opinion pieces or totally unsubstantiated in any way "news" items that people post making all sorts of outrageous cliams.

Again, haven't seen anything yet verifying beyond a shadow of doubt so to speak that the Muslim Bortherhood and Al Jazeera are linked in anyway. That doesn't mean ti is not there, theat just means I haven't seen it yet.

Specially for you Nancy (it is quite a well-known fact that Al Jazeera is pro MB):

"Moreover, Al Jazeera Arabic’s vaunted reputation for even-handedness has withered in recent years. The repressed voices it once daringly aired, particularly of Islamists linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, speak now from positions of power. Qatar, once a weakling in the Gulf, has grown hugely in wealth and clout, partly thanks to the soft power of its satellite arm. But Al Jazeera’s breathless boosting of Qatari-backed rebel fighters in Libya and Syria, and of the Qatar-aligned Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, have made many Arab viewers question its veracity. So has its tendency to ignore human-rights abuses by those same rebels, and its failure to accord the uprising by the Shia majority in Qatar’s neighbour, Bahrain, the same heroic acclaim it bestows on Sunni revolutionaries.

It is not just viewers who notice. When Sultan Qassemi, a pundit in the United Arab Emirates, wrote an article last year noting the channel’s pro-Brotherhood bias, he said dozens of Al Jazeera staff sent confirming e-mails. Not a few such people, including star correspondents in Beirut, Berlin, Cairo, Moscow and Paris, have quit in recent years. Even Al Jazeera English, with a solid reputation built since its birth in 2006, is not immune. In September its staff protested after being told to promote a speech by Qatar’s emir, Sheikh Hamad al-Thani, at the United Nations in New York as its lead item. Al Jazeera America will not win hearts and minds like that."

Well then Nancy IMO you are not doing well at your job! I am glad you found the info on WND as worthy of substance and I truly do hope you search out more information on Al Jazeera because they are BAD news for this country!

Thanks so much Yonati for that very informative information! All one has to do is search and they will find all kinds of information on this evil network and to think that a guy who was ALMOST President of this country sold it to them is even more disheartening! What an ignorant traitor he is!!

The lips aren't even synchronised. The voices are totally and obviously false.

For those who totally condemn Al Gore et al you only see (and hear) what you want to see and hear. Your bigotry is as bad as any Fundamentalist Muslim or Christian. It is time you learned to think. Put your brains into gear once the engine is running or you'll go nowhere.

In response to the bigoted blanket condemnation of all Muslims expressed here by the ignorant and telling others to go to a Muslim country. My time spent there includes Yemen, Iran, Pakistan, Indonesia, Arabia, Egypt, & others.
I NEVER experienced an untoward event. The only time I ever felt threatened and actually ran for my life was in Trinidad. The places I took extreme precautions, to avoid possible danger was in Glasgow, London and New York. (1944). Times have changed I'll admit, but usually you receive the courtesy you give.

My daughter has been several times to Morocco as has my neighbour. Both felt totally safe. My daughter's sister in law lives there, an atheist married to a Muslim, owning a business there. My daughter, wearing a shawl over her head as she was passing a Mosque, (and being soaked stopping the heat) was shocked to see to Limeys ahead. He bare to the waist in shorts and she nearly so with mini skirt and bare midriff. The Moroccans are relatively easy going, and accommodating, but this sort of ignorant behaviour is what gives the "West" a bad namen

Hilarity aside- I was once a big fan of Al Gore. I began to have my doubts when I saw his over lit mansion, but still I admired him. However, the $10 million seaside mansion in California when he claims the seas will rise and destroy the coastal areas, was just too much to ignore. It's not funny at all when Mr Gore's preaching has influenced countries like Australia to squander billions on useless desalination plants on the premise that the usual 30 year drought would be permanent, neglecting flood mitigation and water retention technology. Australia's north and east have had 3 devastating floods in 5 years since the 'permanent' drought broke. Lives and livelihoods have been lost. The tragic circumstances are nothing to laugh about- and it's all due to the new 'religion' promulgated by Gore and his ilk.

In response to the bigoted blanket condemnation of all Muslims expressed here by the ignorant and telling others to go to a Muslim country.

Tom..WHERE was anything said that blanketed ALL Muslims!? We are talking mainly about the Muslim Brotherhood who are associated with Al Jazeera the company that Al Gore sold his network to! Which IMO he is a traitor! A lot of those places you mentioned that you were to in the middle east I don't think you would find the same kind of welcome there today! For instance look at Egypt! You would be taking your life in your own hands by going there today but if you feel safe doing it...have at it!!

Tom..No kidding! So I guess we are all still ignorant then!? And by the way Al Gore is one of the biggest hypocrites I have ever seen! Tries to spoof the whole country into believing we are doomed with electricity and power and all of that good stuff and then has a huge home with a well lit drive way and air conditioning that ran his electrical bill like some atrocious number around $2,000.00 a month at or more just to run it! And he is telling everyone else to cut back..slow down..don't use so much power and etc;!? What a total hypocrite!
