wow! Even Walmart against this!! Raising cotton is bad for environment, making kids work like serfs is bad for morale and welfare of children. I wonder if they were to switch to hemp if there is less labor intensive...if there has to be a national crop, why not hemp which is a weed and not that hard to grow. It still could be exported as a textile.
