Opponents of GMO labeling say it will raise food costs by hundreds of dollars per family when in fact it will likely cause NO cost increase at all!

What can one expect when the Supreme Court says corporations are people so anything goes nowadays. To heck with ordinary people who can't afford the organic.

Organic food may seem higher until you start looking at the health costs due to gmo garbage harming our health, like weight gain, loss of vitaman value, developing allergies, etc. I now only buy certified organic food (and I still read all the labels and I stopped eating meat completely. I used to get horrible migraines-now, I don't. I have lost weight without trying and "real" honest to goodness organic fruit and vegetables have amazing flavor. There are tons of excellent tasty recipes so you can't get bored with meals like with gmo crap. You know exactly what is in it. Get yourself a juicer and oh, boy-it gets even better. No flavor packets to "fresh" storebought juice that has sat around for a year in huge tanks before being labled-"fresh" squeezed. Apparently, my idea of fresh and their idea of fresh differs by quite some time. To me, fresh is I made it 3 minutes ago from real fruit or vegetables. So, all things considered-certified organic is very cost efficient. Monsanto and their ilk can go to hell.

There is a very simple solution to the cost factors. DON'T GROW THE KRUD! It is bad for the farmers health because of the heavy use of pesticides and herbicides.

In Europe if anything is GMO (very rare and only because it is imported from the U.S.) it is labeled, at no extra cost to the consumer!

Even if it did raise food costs...which it does not....Feeding your family things to create organ failure and sterility is not worth any cost. Plus, the harm it does to the environment. GMOs are a blight on the planet. Literally.

GMO's are a Monster now. We need to raise our voices and keep up the education so that the majority of folks don't fall asleep and never know what happened to them..... We need to save our natural seeds before they are extinct...........!!!
I don't for one minute believe it would cost any more to label foods GMO if that's what they are... that's laughable to say it would cost a bunch more......What lie's.
Thank you Kathy for posting this...
