What a depressing article - I hope the President knows of this....then again, what can he do about it? The damage has been done.

i love that commend from DAVE C good job green star is being sent. there are many stories of many othere sources of energy. it is coroporate greed that is not allowing organizations to look into alternate energy sources which are more clean and abundants.

American industry needs to be potty trained. They don't know how to clean up after themselves.

Some nice people please sue them the companies for health damage, contamination, emotional distess, and the like -- to get some monies to have good earth scientists and honest environmentals and the like clean up the mess. Also, sue the companies for "emotional stress and the like, stress causing health problems" for this and for all the new pipeline -- hopefully before they get it up and running.

We need to be heard -- on these petitions -- will you please make this work -- people who know how to stop this pipeline -- please. WE need the petitions to become effective tools to stop this pipeline. Any man or women agree?

This is disgraceful and what is even more disgraceful are the many people calling for these pipelines and the attitude of "drill baby drill". These companies are not responsible enough nor do they capable in keep our environment safe. Sickens me.

Both Canadians and Americans need to make new laws and have enforcers paid by the oil companies. Leaks should not be happening.

How much of our wildlife are we willing to sacrifice for this Big Business vampires?
Wind and solar must take a strong surge. The Tea Party Republican GOP's agenda is clear. Feed Big Buiness corporate greed, and hopefully, some of those Benjamins will come back to us.

Strange they don't make it more effective. They must loos a lot of money and they would loose even more when we start to make them pay for the damage they make.

It's clear that those people are only motivated by their greed. The same happened in the Almazon forest where they didn't only pollute sources, rivers and the forest, which also killed a lot of animals; Meanwhile other people came to cut all precious trees. In the end, a native, who had lost her husband and two of her children as a result of the pollution, sued the petrol company and ... won. The same situation is now happening in America. This is why I am not surprised. Those people have a important motivation: their thirst for money. You may be a native in the Amazon forest or a civilized American, it makes no difference.
