I always cringe when people put their children on counter tops "to see what is going on" I don't care if the diaper isn't's just gross!

Thinking about this now, & I've seen meat pkgs. leave blood on the belt, , & just get swiped up with a paper towel, not often, but in the past I have seen this, Yuck,

I am a retired cashier, I have seen people put their babies and children up on to the belt's let them ride down. I would ask them to please take them off people put their food here. I would shut down the belt every time it would have meat or nasty things on it, and clean it, people would always be happy to have it clean. They didn't mind waiting just a few minutes. Now I ask them to wipe the things off before I put my things up I just tell them I don't want to take that stuff home and put it in my frig. or cupboards. If they get an attitude I look for another lane to check out and another cashier next time. if it's wet bad looking, I don't want to take that stuff home and put things into my frig or cupboards. Just ask that cashier to please clean it off before you put your grocerie's up there. Any Cashier should be proud to have a clean lane to check out they should notice how it looks!! !
