Scientists just discovered how this tiny Gardiner's Seychelle frog, only found in the Seychelle Islands, can hear without ears. They hear sounds with their mouth chambers. Logged in Doomwatch Legacy by Sunstroke author David Kagan.

Very interesting article. The frog being so tiny. it probably took a while before they found out that it didn't have ears and then to understand how it 'heard' sound in stead.

Little delicate creature, I love frogs too, down to creating toad abodes in my yard..my neighbors even made a small frog pond in their backyard to let their children...see the miracle of the transformation from pollywog to full grown frog...thats what happens in my(hood) ..learning, nuturing, sharing, growing the generation that will take over after we are long gone, no and I do not mean passivity, or submission or weakness but appreciation for the gifts we are given...and the willingness to protect it...come to my hood with evil on your mind and you will reap the wrath of those who are nurturers not destroyers...we are all given a choice, which will u choose...? I choose the positive, loving, giving path if given the choice...but don't make me choose between good and evil. Good wins every time...yeah, and I'm not just blow in' hot air...
