Paul your right this is not justified; if that is what you meant by not right. The story is true as I have been a witness to the events at this Woodlawn Mental Health Center. Mayor Rahm Emanuel is the one who directed that these Mental Health Centers be closed down and he offered nothing to replace them for the people of each of the various communities. He claims people can use other privatized services which tend to cost much more and are not always sliding scale to people income. Talk about reckless homicide, This is killing marginalized people who desperately need these services. Rahm is motivated by money not of civic responsibility and this could have unintended as well as intended consequences that pose large risks to society at large.

You're right, this is a problem. Then I saw where it's being perpetrated. Illinois is one of the worst run states in the Union, with corrupt politicians and gangland crooks and crooked unions being the norm. They should hand it over to Dr Tarr and Professor Fether, they' do a more honest job from inside the insane asylum than the Dummycrats are doing in the current state legislature!

Yes I would agree many Mental Health patients have a more sane perspective if not a personal interest in their access to mental health. It is many so called normal people that I give me pause to wonder about their sanity. Politicians are famous for claiming how normal and of great health they are, along with their stories of coming from humble beginnings which are lies if not delusions of grandeur.
