No matter where you look, a cloud of confusion hangs over the message of Jesus. To cut through it we have to be specific about who we mean when we refer to Jesus. One Jesus is historical, and we know next to nothing about him. Another Jesus is the one ap

Ya know, Cheryl . . . I don't adhere to ANYTHING "organized" by mere mortals (and first on that list is religion).

However, many of my friends do.

That said, I never get offended by blessings, from ANYONE -- after all, we'll only find out who was right when it's too late to change our minds, eh?

good point, I don't celebrate this time of the year as such, and was yelled at as others didn't either, I said neither DO I, lol. So Blessings ok, I have gotten it for that too, that I nor most humans are qualified to bless anyone. Can't please everyone

I was very hesitant this time, and couldn't do last year, so, take it in the spirit it was given CO-EXIST

Oh, Deepak, you are so close to the the
truth of the true Jesus! So tantalizingly
close!
Jesus of Nazareth, Jesus the Galilean....
He was, and is, and always shall be, God
Almighty who became a man. He was God in the
flesh.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word
was with God, and the Word was God".
-John 1:1
People get badly confused by religion, and it's
no wonder: Religion is a creation of humanity,
and Christianity is NOT a religion.
Chrsitianity is God's ultimate expression of His
love for humanity, in that God became a man, Jesus
the Christ, and lived amongst us for 33 years. Jesus
said that no man could take His life, that He laid it
down willingly, and took it back up again, of His own
will. He was arrested, tortured, nailed to a cross, and
died 6 hours later. On the third day, as He had said, He
rose again from the dead, and lives forever more.
"I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I
am alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of
hell and of death".
-Revelation 1:18
THIS is the message of Christianity!
Religion is man attempting to reach upward toward God.
Christianity is God who became a man, and died for us
all. And those who believe this, and accept it, will
live forever.
It's as simple as that.

Thank you, Cheryl, so much, for this post,
and may everyone have a joyous, peaceful
and blessed Easter Sunday.
He is risen.....He is risen, indeed!

Thank you Tim, I couldn't've said it better myself. There is now, and forever will be, only one Jesus. I'm so happy to be a Christian and thankful to God, who I call "Giam." (God refers to himself as "the great I am"). Jesus is my Lord and Savior and I accepted him into my heart at age 7 so that when I die I will go to Heaven and have a pefect body. No more CP, wheelchair, spastic limbs, none of that. My body will be perfect.

Thank God for God and thank God we have another day to start a new.

Happy Easter everyone!

Friends I just wanted to clear whatever feelings you might have regarding the Easter Greetings!
My dear friends, I don’t know whether you will agree with me. I personally feel that as human beings, we are given the right to choose who ever we want to believe in. Hence, I certainly respect your belief system what ever it may be and we expect that others will do the same.

Keeping this thought in mind, I sent out my Easter greetings not only to the believers but to my other friends as well since I felt it was the same as sending greetings for Diwali, Halloween or Christmas or even for that matter, for the season of Spring. It was never my intention to make people accept my belief. It had never even entered my mind or thought. It was purely out of my love and friendship that I sent out my greetings to all my friends whether it be Easter or any festival or season for that matter. It was mainly because I thought of you during the season that I sent you the greetings. So friends I hope you did not mind my sending you the Easter greetings since I know that you are all highly enlightened people with an open mind and a big heart. Please do not misunderstand me since I did not have any intention of making you accept my belief. As I said you have the right to choose who ever you wish to believe in and we respect you for that.

However, I agree with Tim when he said that our belief system is based on the “ultimate expression of the love of God for humanity”. Accordingly, we also respect and love all you friends out there. Hence, I feel we should not find fault with any one or whom we believe in, since all you friends have the right to choose whom you wish to believe in. We certainly respect you for that. As such, I know we try our best to express our love not only for our fellow human beings but also for the animal world and mother earth.

So friends, at this point of time, I cannot think of anything better but to understand what love really is. Herein I quote.......
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes and always perseveres. Love never fail. (1 Corinthians 13)

Well friends, let us try to make people happy in this world by trying to be at peace with one another through our understanding and LOVE for one and all.

Tim that was a wonderful write up. It was highly informative. Thank you very much!

Thanks Cheryl for sharing the article with us. Noted!

Thank you kindly, Ivy.
You've made an incredibly beautiful post here,
and I appreciate it.
I never try to "preach" to people:
I can't do that. All I do is express my
belief in my risen saviour, Jesus Christ,
and tell people what He has done for me.
My health is desparately poor these days.
I know that I'm dying, slowly and unpleasantly.
But, while my body is failing me and shutting
down, my mind and my spirit are more alive than
they have ever been, and that's from the fruits
of the Holy Spirit Who lives in me.
The apostle Paul said
"I am crucified with Christ,: nevertheless,
I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:
and the life I now live in the flesh I live
by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me,
and gave Himself for me."
-Galatians 2:20
I really can't say anymore than that, and there
are tears of joy in my eyes as I type. I can't say
anymore than this:
I genuinely love you all,
and Jesus does, too.

I am relieved to find my friends expressing themselves here, echoing the truth I know in my heart. It's Springtime and I cannot help but feel optimistic because that is the nature of who I am. I much appreciate the author's distinction of the three. Rather than expel so much energy manipulating words and thought to decide who Jesus would bomb, it makes much more sense to me to try and live each moment as he did. I obviously have a long way to go.LOL
Thank you Cheryl for posting this, and I too genuinely wish well to all regardless whom they choose to call creator or not. I have never understood the need for some to "translate" communications with the almighty. Even if I did misunderstand, it's an honest mistake and the all powerful, all knowing would obviously, know that. Too many times I have been shown my mistakes for me not to trust in him (or her.)

Friends, we are extremely sorry to know that our very good friend Tim is seemingly unwell. So I hope you do not mind my posting a comment for him. Tim my friend, we are sorry to know about the state of health you are in. We did not realize it was so bad. All the same, our prayers are with you always. We fervently hope and pray that our Almighty Heavenly Father will perform an awesome miracle on your behalf whereby you will be completely healed from whatever ails you.

One thing I have always loved your positive attitude towards life. Tim I know that Jesus has said that what you have confessed in public about your believe and love of God, Jesus will definitely confess you to His Father in Heaven. Tim and Barbcat I believe that your name is written large in the Book of Life because of your confession. Well Tim when the "roll is called up yonder, I know you'll be there". It is also good to know that you have the Fruits of the Holy Spirit who is your Comforter and Friend. No wonder you have this beautiful feeling that "I am crucified with Christ,: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me". So take courage my friend and everything will be well with you.

Thank you friends!

Ivy, thank you again, my friend.
You have made my day, and I'm honored
and humbled.
A few specifics:
I have Systemic Lupus, and autoimmunue disease,
emphysema and rheumatoid arthritis. The Lupus
causes terrible pain in my muscles, bones, nerves
and joints; terrible and constant exhaustion, and
a number of other unpleasant symptoms. This is my
cross to bear, and I don't complain. If I had not
become so ill 3 years ago, I would never have found
Care2, I would not have 507 friends all over the world,
or this opportunity to share the message of the love and
peace of my Lord, my Saviour and my King. It was His
perfect will to make me this sick, to empty me of
myself, so that He could use me as a vessel, to do
my little part to share His message. This is my ministry,
and I praise Him constantly!
Ivy, I'm going to print out this thread, and when I'm
feeling extra bad, I'll have it to read, and your kind
words will uplift me. Thank you, with all of my heart,
my sister, and "great is YOUR reward in Heaven"!

dear Tim, ME/CFS (and HepC) is in many ways similar to Lupus, they even put it on my med records to try to take off the ME/CFS. I know what it is like to be ill for so long, your organs failing, and body, and no cures, with several illnesses that devestate your life, let alone the brain/body damage done.

You know there was a time in my life I turned to the New Testament to get me though, (I have read the Bible several times and still have a copy as I do with other books of other religions, I tend toward the Eastern ones ;) I had almost been murdered and alot health wise had happnened just prior that also almost killed me. It was the only support I truely had I felt and it got me through severe PTSD, which I didnt know what it was or that I had it at the time.

I am not a regigious person, my father and his side are Jewish, my mom's side Protastant and Catholic. I was discrminiated agasint by both sides of the family when I was a mere babe, because of this.

I am however, a apiritual person, and a spirit soul in a human body, and that soul/spirit never dies as it is of "God/Allah/All That Is", what ever name one want to use. We all come from the same source. I so wish that all people knew that.

I don't know if I will do this next year, the message I included to friends also included "co-exist", I still got a back lash.

Also want to state, that talking about your illnesses, level of functioning, what you endure is nto complaining or whining as many have attacked me for talking openly. I sent you my email, I can not always type or sit up and mostly bed confined, and sometimes I miss a few. I usually get back to people and even if I can not, I CAN LISTEN WITH AN OPEN HEART AND UNDERSTANDING AND LOVE.

the reason I put this on C2NN, and in my message, was because of "the third Christ" and what that means "God Conciousness" - to me :)

much love

We have to be able to co-exist,
whatever our beliefs, however
different they may be. If we can't
co-exist, we'd never be able to talk
with one another!
All life is sacred, and inter-connected,
because every form of life on Earth has
been created by the same kind and loving
God. He is sacred, therefore all life is
sacred, because He is the source of life.
imho, one of the largest problems we have
on Earth today is the sense that life is
"every man for himself", or every person
for themselves.
We are expected to love one another, and we
must be able to live together, get along, and
help one another out.....bearing each other's
burdens, as the scripture says.
Cheryl, I like your comment, it's so true!...
"God Consciousness" is SO necessary, otherwise
our hearts and minds would not be open to hear
Him speaking to us as individuals.....which He
does, if we can be receptive enough to hear Him!
I'm so tired right now, and I need some sleep.
This has been a very good, but a very long and
tiring day. I'll post some news tomorrow, Cheryl,
after I've had at least 40 winks!
Wishing Peace and Love to all!

"All speech, action, and behavior are fluctuations of consciousness. All life emerges from, and is sustained in, consciousness. The whole universe is the expression of consciousness. The reality of the universe is one unbounded ocean of consciousness in motion." - Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

Cheryl my friend, I'm extremely sorry to know that you also suffered from almost the same ailment like Tim. My prayers are with you my dear and we hope the Almighty will heal you completely from your ailment through His powerful miracle. Cheryl you will be completely cured!

Cheryl, I feel so sad when you said every time you posted Easter messages or anything for that matter, you got a backlash for it. Cheryl why should your friends do this to you? I'm sure they are an enlightened people with an open mind and a big heart. Hence, I just cannot understand why you should get a backlash every time you posted some comments or the other. Cheryl please do not worry about this backlash business. At least till date my friends are all so open minded that they don't give any backlash. I give glory to God for that and I thank Him immensely for His goodness endures forever. Friends are supposed to help one another through their love and understanding. So I hope they don't give you anymore backlashes.

If we wish to discuss on a certain topic then why not do it in a manner which will make us grow in wisdom and love. Cheryl my prayers are with you. Hope things become more easier and happier for you and may the Almighty grant you joy, peace, love and good health now and forever.

Take care and have a nice day. No more backlashes please!! lol
Thank you Cheryl.
Love - ivy
