yes and I am paying for IT WITH MY LIFE, CAPS EASIER FOR ME TO READ RIGHT NOW. SOMEONE ON MY FRIENDS LIST MENTIONED AKATHISIA IN RELATION TO ANTDEPRESSANTS & I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THAT WAS, SURE ENOUGH I LOOK IT UP AND I HAD THE SAME THING, SOMETIMES STILL GET IT BUT NOT AS BAD. THE LIST OF DAMAGE DONE BY PHYSCHIATRISTS AND THEIR STOCKPILES OF ANTIDPRESSANTS AND OTHERS, IS HORRENDOUS, AND DO THEY WANT TO TAKE RESPONSBILITY AND HELP ME, NO, NO NO, I HAVE TO I TOOK THE DAMN MEDICATION. THEY SAID MY M.E. WAS PSHYCHIATRIC, MY EYESIGHT STARTED TO GO IN THE FIRST YEAR, DYKSENISA AFTER, THEN NEURLOPTIC MALGANENT SYDROME, THEN ACTUE DYSTONIA, NOW I WAS READING UP ON SOMETHING ELSE TODAY, THAT MAY BE PART AND PARCEL INCLUDED WITHTHE DYSKIENSA, EXRAPERMEDAL MOVEMENTS, BODY PARTS GO FLYING AROUND, EXCEPT MY WHOLE BODY GOES AND IHAVE TO TRY TO CONTROL PRETTY MUCH ON MY OWN OR ELSE I PARALIZE. LOTS OF FUN. I HAVE POSTED QUITE A FEW SUMISSIONS AND SHARES ON THESE AND THE DANGERS OVER TIME HERE. AND NOW, I HAVE TO HAVE MEDICATION TO STOP THE CONVULSTIONS, AND SOMETHING TO RELAX MY SHORTENED STIFF AND WEAKENED MUSCLES AND LIGAMENTS OR I CAN BARELY WALK AND ONLY LIFT A PLASTIC GLASS OF WATER. AND THE HAND SCRIPTS OUT LIKE CANDY, 2/3 ARE TO WOMEN, HELLOO, JUST LIKE THE VALUMN DAYS. THEY MEET ONCE A YEAR TO MAKE UP NEW NAMES FOR BEHAVIORAL OR EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS THAT THEY AND BIG PHARMA CAN DRUG.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE AND KNOW THE RISKS, ALOT OF DOCTORS DON'T LIKE PATIENTS THAT ARE INFORMED AND ARE INSULTED THEIR EGO'S.

WOW, NEVER HEARD OF THAT. I DON'T HAVE DOCTOR CARE I AM JUST LEFT HERE AND CANT GET TO ONE, NONE WOULD WANT ME WITH MY MED FILES CHANGED AND BEING A HIGH MAINTENANCE CASE. AND I DON'T EAT WELL I CAN'T DO SHOPPING, COOKING ETC ANYMORE. IF HAVE SOME OF THOSE THOU STILL, HAVE TO LOOK UP THE DEANOL, THE OMEGA 6 REALLY EHLPED QUITE ABIT PRIOR BUT FAR FROM ALL REGARDING MY ME. AND WAS TAKING 12 CAPS A DAY, HAVE TO EAT FOR THAT AMOUNT OF OIL. I TRIED DETOIXFICATION AS WELL AS COLONICS AS WELL AND THAT DIDNT WORK EITHER AND HIGH QUALITY VITIAMINS THAT ABORBE, DIDN'T WORK EITHER. THE ONLY THING THAT STOPS IT OR REDUCES I IS GABA, AND NOT THE NATURAL TRIED THAT TOO, AND DOPAMINE BUT THAT PUTS ME TO SLEEP AND CAUSES DEPRESSION AND FATIGUE AND EXCRUTIATING PAIN IF NOT HIGH ENOUGH DOSE OR WEARING OFF FROM MY DAMAGED MUSCLES, LIGAMENTS. I ALSO HAVE ZINE, AND CALCIUM, MAGNIUSM, ANDLOTS MORE, I HAVE SPENT A FORTURE ON NATURALS, MOST THAT HAVE DONE NOT MUCH. BUT I AM ON NO GOOD DIETARY REGIEME RIGHT NOW, AND A VEGITARIN. People experiencing unusual symptoms often ignore the fact that it could be the medication they are taking which may be the problem. In the Unite States alone, a staggering 106,000 people die, on average, each year because of correct drug prescribing. Yet around 7,000 perish through medication errors. These figures show you the problem of death by correct drugs in the starkest light.

Am i telling you to stop taking your medicine? Not at all. But drugs treat symptoms, almost never addressing the underlying cause. That`s why, if you have a headache and you take Advil, you are merely treating the pain, not correcting the underlying reason you got the headache in the first place.

In certain circumstances, discontinuing your medication without proper supervision can be dangerous. For instance, if you are taking the blood-thinner Warfarin (actually a rat poison) because you have thick, clumpy blood sluggishly coursing through your body, the Warfarin may be the only thing stopping you from having a stroke or the many heart complications arising from your condition. Discontinuing it would be ill-advised. Notice though that the Warfarin is not solving the problem of why you have the condition in the first place, it`s merely putting you in a holding pattern. Arthritis medication isn`t solving the problem of why you have the condition in the first place, it`s merely treating the symptoms, etc.

There are two different approaches to disease in what is known as orthodox and alternative medicine.

SSRIs work for serotonin, by exactly the same mechanism cocaine works for dopamine and yet the pharmaceutical industry would have us believe they are not habit forming. The truth is, the link between serotonin and depression is pretty much of a hoax. The first two studies done on Prozac could not show a significant anti-depressive defect. Subsequent tests on this class of drug typically show effects les than 10% better than placebo. They do, however, cause people to commit suicide- some "anti-depressant".

It should make us happy, but environmentalists are deeply alarmed: Prozac, the anti-depression drug, is being taken in such large quantities that it can now be found in Britain's drinking water.

Environmentalists are calling for an urgent investigation into the revelations, describing the build-up of the antidepressant as 'hidden mass medication'. The Environment Agency has revealed that Prozac is building up both in river systems and groundwater used for drinking supplies.

Very good stuff. I have been taking myself off of my meds since the begining of the year. I suffer from fibro, CFS, nerve damage and back problems. I have seen some difference since I have come off some of the meds. I AM working on it. It is hard work. We all need better holistic help which our insurance will not cover. But they will cover the drs. that prescribe the meds and the medications in most cases. Wish there was a better way. Thanks Sis. Love ya! Noted.
