What about all the natural habitat they've already destroyed. There really is no such thing as sustainable palm oil. Don't buy products that contain it. That's the only way to make a difference.

Country Crock, Kemps ice cream...and, my personal fav, Cheetos - all have palm oil, among other unpronounceable things.

It's a hopeful sign but I must agree with Peta, only proof positive of enforcement will tell. I've posted this before but Aldi makes/sells a soy-based alternative to Nutella which contains palm oil. My kids love the stuff and I don't have to feel as bad buying it.

Sounds too good to be true. I 'll believe it if it actually happens.

I will do my best to NEVER buy any product with palm oil in it. Please avoid products like Nutella, Hershey's chocolate spreads, International Delight coffee creamer, instant ramen noodles, most brands of margarine and microwave popcorn, "yogurt" covered snacks- please read labels! In the United States, the product must say palm oil in the ingredients list, although it might be in the small print behind the words "vegetable oil"...

I have just started to check ingredients on everything that I buy to make it has no palm oil. It's really hard to find things that don't have any, sorta like finding something that's not made in China.
