Try Dilmah which is privately owned and operated by a local community. Or you can try my favorite tea by Mighty Leaf.

Def somehow not surprised--we're walking chemicals really. We need to start growing as much of our food as possible. If no garden than there's always a community sharing one. Thanks

How annoying,it is a disaster I am a walking teapot! It is really true that we do not know what we are eating or drinking anymore. There is no more respect for the earth.Pollute, pollute pollute. These big names Twinings,Hindustan Unilever,Tata they do not give a fig as long as the money roles in.They have no care for their customers, their workers or the environment. How I wish i could bring all these big wigs before an international court for the crimes they commit. Now they have ruined my favorite drink. I am furious.I shall have to go and have a cuppa or i shall rant on!

Oh no! I love tea and have been drinking it every day since I was a kid! I drink Whole Foods organic green tea, which is a bargain at $3.99 for a box of 70 tea bags, but I love Tazo Earl Grey, which is not organic. It is my favorite tea. I have had Choice Organic Earl Grey in the past, but it is hard to find and expensive to buy online. We're always hearing about the health benefits of tea, but the pesticides may negate the benefits.

I love tea and often grow my own herbal teas and when buying prefer to purchase organic teas. There are far too much toxic chemicals around in the environment.

Noted. Thanks for the info. I drink teas all day long. It is my drink of choice. I will be calling Bigelow to find out where they get their leaves. Truly frightening. Are these companies ever going to get the message that pesticides do more harm than good?

I do tire of finding it difficult to find products that don't contain so many things that aren't actually what the product is. From pesticides to gluten, I've pretty much had to give up tea I have so few options.
