Shame on Amazon for this horrific selling of child abuse!! Amazon has gone way over the limit here. I suggest we alert Presiden-Elect Obama about this in a petition asking for 2,000 signatures. Thank you Sherry, noted with anger and a heartful of sadness for the children.

Amazon acts like a shameless whore with no respect for life, they have proven in the past that they don't care about anything but making bucks, dump them if you have an account.

Petition signed.

I participated some time back in a campaign for Amazon to stop selling material promoting animal fighting. Their response: We give the public what they want.

All I can gather from that is they don't care if the subject matter is illegal, immoral, or just plain wrong - it's all about money.

I hope they get a conscious on this issue.

Although I don't support anything that hurts anyone or any living thing, I feel so very uncomfortable about banning books. I saw the covers of the books on the youtube video, but, with the exception of one, I couldn't really get a sense of what the books were about. I've signed many petitions on this site over the years, but I will have to pass on this one because of my opinion regarding book banning.

Noted, thank you, Sherry. I for one, will not give one $$$ for this so they can profit from this subject matter. Like someone said, above, it's all about the money. I'm going somewhere else!

I rarely do business with big corporations precisely because they tend to lack ethics, so I won't be shopping at Amazon anyway. Boycotting is a good way to express our lack of support - it attacks their profit margin.

Like Villagetree, I don't like banning books off-hand. From the video I can't tell how many of these books are truly "pro-pedophile" or not. Would you put "Lolita" by Nabokov on this list ? Anything that discusses children's sexuality ? And what ages are we talking about ?

Yes, let's protect children, and keep the pressure on law enforcement to break up these rings who exploit children for pornography.

But let's look at our mainstream media, too, which is just as irresponsible and its effects far more insideous. Society produces pedophiles - let's find out how and produce fewer and fewer of them.

Noted and signed petition with deep shame and disgust! Will also send mails.
We can'fight against dirty thoughts and minds, but we should fight against visible immorality, like child-porn movies and books, bestiality...
This has nothing to do with freedom of speach at all, somewhere we all have to draw the lign!
Thanks Sherry

Thanks Sherry for those email addresses and you too Kelli for being so proactive and using them...I am going to follow your lead. I was just thinking that the sales records of those books would be valuable to the FBI if they were smart enough to subpeona the records then they could get an idea of people who are actual pedophiles in this country. Just a thought...
