What a wonderful ariticle to add to the site, Anna Thanks! I think it is absolutely WONDERFUL that dads, these days normally take such an active role in parenting. It is one of the great changes of our age! Only a generation or two ago, the father had nothing to do with the upbringing of the children at all usually. He was either a rather frightenening disciplinarian, hardly seen, or a sort of friendly quasi sort of figure, in the background, but not a person you could relate to. Nowadays children, if they have a good father, are getting so much more love and care. from BOTH parents. This article should be a great help to new dads, who take their role as parent seriously.

Would like to see this kind of information made available to parents by their doctors from the earliest possible moment. It is a great aid and can make the difference in how the whole family structure develops when a parent feels that they have some insight into what to do with their new bundle of joy.

Life Lessons should be taught starting in High School that shows and teaches boys and girls what parenting entrails along with lessons regarding sex and marriage so that they have a realistic picture of life and are taught skills to deal with these major times of your life. Education is the key as it is in all walks of life!
