People who dislike the man while knowing nothing about him are media dupes. He also started the 'Heritage Trust' as a result of his involvement in the issue of London's homeless people. Lady Dianna's involvement in the international landmine commission, on the other hand, was the result of her accompanying him on a visit to myself and my co-workers who were digging up said landmines. Her interest was entirely selfish {another opportunity to get in front of the cameras), while his was entirely unselfish. Working with Prince Charles is an honour, being in the same room with Dianna was unpleasant at best.

If Charles is really sincere, I commend him, as he is going against his mother.

Charles,..

"We [will] end up with millions of small farmers all over the world being driven off their land into unsustainable, unmanageable, degraded and dysfunctional conurbations of unmentionable awfulness," the prince said.

"What we should be talking about is food security, not food production - that is what matters, and that is what people will not understand.

"And if they think it's somehow going to work because they are going to have one form of clever genetic engineering after another, then count me out because that will be guaranteed to cause the biggest disaster environmentally of all time."

I do commend you Charles,

- keep proving that you are into the, Save Our Earth program,

,, and you will save yourself,..

your mother,. is another story, unless she is more publicly displaying her good intentions, she will suffer.

It is always so great to see someone use his/her celebrity to speak out about important issues such as this. He is being a prince by bringing attention to these issues. I wish I could send him a green star!

I know Americans have not had respect for Prince Charles since the Diana/Camilla fiasco, but the man DOES know about farming. We should listen up! Thanks, Todd.

Bonnie Prince Charles! Yep, he's come a long way since Diana and seems sincere in his actions. I support his stance on GM and sustainability.

He is a very educated and groomed man, which a inside ear to whats going on behind the scenes. If he is speaking out on this issue then you know it has to be bad. I give his due, we don not have to walk in his shoes. I thank god for that. But we really do not know that much about him. I'm just glad he is doing this, and sets a good example for his sons. They are the future rulers. It is such a shame Diana wasn't here to guide and raise them right. The world would of been such a better place.

I agree Todd, he is a brave man.

"If he is speaking out on this issue then you know it has to be bad. I give his due, we don not have to walk in his shoes. I thank god for that. But we really do not know that much about him. I'm just glad he is doing this, and sets a good example"

The reason we need vitamins so much, is because all the GMO'D seeds, produce food, with very few nutrients.

Perhaps he could speak to his mother about this, also

United Nations Codex Commission.. United Nations Is Codex Commission..They Take Away Vitamins, Dec. 31, 2009

I am so glad that he is strong enough to stand up and tell the truth about this, he is the only leader I have heard actually say these things. I wish now he would be even more outspoken about it and I hope that Europe continues to resist it.
From what I have heard this is going to be the beginning of a future of famine. If the GMO seeds are as bad as he says, we'd all better be collecting the heirloom varieties and growing them. The GMO seeds will polute the water, the ground, then the oceans and they are not even good to eat. Its a pity that americans always want quantity instead of quality. I am getting ready to order a batch of those Garden Patch grow boxes so I can have some sort of a protected garden next spring-the ground here, where I live is so rocky and poor it won't grow anything but squash and tomatoes. I plan on growing everything I can next year-even though I may have to hand polinate-I haven't seen honey bee all summer. I really love honey bees, my dad raised them, so I am particularly fond of them.

Now that he has taken this step, which I commend him greatly on. Maybe just maybe he will start speaking out and rebelling against those that has controlled him and his Image for so long. He could be coming into his Own. Could the handlers of lost control?

I will change my mind about Charlie boy, if he stand up aganst his mother and GM crops! He may have found his sensitive side, or Camilla has an influence. I do hope he will also speak up about those stupid hats the guards are wearing. Because it is associated with immense cruelty to bears. Artificial is the way to go for hats but not crops! Good for him.
