ALL PENS NEED TO BE HIDDEN FROM BUSH. We already know that HE knows how to sign any piece of paper that will remove freedoms of people. Let him practice his penmanship in jail.

Bush isn't jus a nosy bastard, he's just a plain BASTARD. Hel'll get his in the end. The peopple will one day get fed up with his Presidential Signings, cherry picking laws he does't like. But since when did the U.S. Constitution stop Bush and his neocons from doing whatever they want to do. The Democrats better file for impeachment or wer're doomed. Last Friday Bush singed into law the reauthorizion of keeping the interment camps open. George W (the Nazi) Bushit

The purpose of a Presidential signing is to eliminate the law he disagrees with, thus re-writing the law to his satisfaction. Apparently he doesn’t like the way Postal Laws are written, and uses once again the pretense of mail that may contain a poisonous substance or package with a bomb in it. Problem with his new law is the Postal Authority had these practices in place under the original laws.

Any suspicious package can be opened by the Post Master General for inspection, and this goes back to 1975. I had a friend who worked in the Post Office in Lowell, MA. I got in touch with him and we devised a plan where I could mail in boxes along with other articles one once packages of Marijuana. I bought a half pound of Marijuana and put two ounces in each box, buried under clothing and other articles to contain the smell. Then I wrote on the outside of each box in large letters: This Package May Be Opened For Inspection. If you write those words on packages you send no one even dreams of opening them. The Postal Service believes no one who has anything to hide would write those words on the outside of the packages. All of my packages were delivered to Utuado, Puerto Rico, and not one of them was ever opened for inspection. I stayed stoned the whole time I was there during the summer of 1975. Bush thinks he’s smart, but I’m smarter.

F--- you George!

well looks like a few years ago when I show either dateline, or sixty minutes asked a group of people why are you leaving the United State and giving up your citizenship, they said...............Soon we will no longer be free to speak, free to do as we use to do, the country is changing, America is not what it use to be.... so much for our soldiers getting killed and or wounded for a bastard who doesn't give a damn, Any how the people who left the US might be the smart ones in the long run......THE HELL WITH THE US, that's where it's going. Our poor men and women who fight to keep us free seem year by year it's going to be for nothing. Other than keeping us safe, looks like we need to be kept safe from our RETREAD CHIEF of COMMAND>

I shouldn't be surprised at all by what is happening, it goes from bad to worse, from worse to unacceptable, from unacceptabel to non-tolerance. Where do we go from non-tolerance to? do you ask? Well, for some odd reason I feel that it is time to let Bush, but not only Bush, lets say whoever is involved with the entire White House, all of them are smelling pretty putrid lately, the smell only getting worse, but you know what farmers do with the horse and cow or sheep, or pig, SHIT they shovel the shit out of the barn to the outside so the smell can wear off from the barn. Well, maybe the SHIT that's been getting shoveled from one room to another over there needs a good CLEANING OUT so that the public has their rights back.
It is very true what Robin has said, that people are leaving the country for their personal reasons, but Bush and his henchmen can't smell the roses, because there is so much SHIT stinking everything out. I'm in awe as to what he does, gets away with, and/or tries to get away with, for some reason I don't think that he is aware that anyone is aware of what he is doing, my how blindsighted is he. We are all idiots if we weren't aware of all of the crap going on.

The executive branch shall construe subsection 404(c) of title 39, as enacted by subsection 1010(e) of the Act, which provides for opening of an item of a class of mail otherwise sealed against inspection, in a manner consistent, to the maximum extent permissible, with the need to conduct searches in exigent circumstances, such as to protect human life and safety against hazardous materials, and the need for physical searches specifically authorized by law for foreign intelligence collection.

That explains what happened to my Victoria's Secret catalogs,,, that's a vision Bush and Cheney dancing around the Oval Office in Corsets, Garter belts and fish net stockings. I had to put some humor to this disgusting fascists action.

What a wonderful "privitization package this is." Now, on with the Internet "privacy" situation. I just signed a petition for the Chinese journalist that received "ten years in prison" for doing an email on the fact that the Chinese government was advising journalists not to make a big deal of the fact that the anniversary of Tienamin Square was coming up, so as not to incite more resistance towards the Chinese government. This journalist's Yahoo email account was gone through because he had sent an email to a pro-democracy organization in regard to the Chinese government's interest in playing down the anniversary by having the Chinese Press play along with the toning down of the anniversary, not mentioning it in the press, in other words.

Yahoo was responsible for releasing this journalist's email records to the government, and a ten-year sentence was imposed. Amnesty International has a campaign to free him going on right now. As we can see, the bottom line of this signing statement is to "privitize" the mail services so that overly-zealous private institutions can now assist the government in their warrantless searches, as did Yahoo assist the Chinese government by turning the journalist's personal email records over to them, resulting in his conviction.

Great job, Dave. Keep up the good work on it. "Privitization" will result in many injustices to our liberties and freedoms.

So-called private institutions have been helping the government do their dirty work for many, many years now. I was employed by the government in the 1970's and I left because of that reason among many. Soon we will have no freedoms left. I am apalled at the laisez-faire attitude of most Americans. Can they all be so afraid to speak their minds or are they truly "sheeple"?

I wonder what exigent circumstances are going to be used to open a sealed package?

What were the exigent circumstances Yahoo used to forward a journalists e-mails to the Chinese government ending in a 10 year sentence for the journalists sending e-mails through Yahoo should be proud of what of what they did violating the trust of the journalist. I wonder how many e-mails has forwarded to the federal government regarding American accounts? Scum bags!

TO ME THIS IS ANOTHER CASE OF HOW OUR SYSTEM FAILS US. IF A POLICEMAN IS BEING INVERSTIGATED, HE IS USUALLY SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, WHAT MAKES A DOCTOR ANY BETTER? ESPECIALLY IF HE ADMITTED TO IT. OUR SYSTEM IS BULL AND DOES LITTLE TO PROTECT THE INNOCENT, BUT MUCH TO PROTECT THE GUILTY. IT'S ABSURD. SUCH SICKO'S LIKE THIS SHOULD BE COMPLETELY AWAY FROM OUR CHILDREN, OUR SOCIETY, AND BANNED FROM USING MEDICAL KNOWHOW TO PROCURE JOBS ANYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES, OR IN FACT THE WORLD. IT IS OUTRAGEOUS, BUT THAT IS HOW SO MANY CRIMINALS SLIP THROUGH THE SYSTEM, BECAUSE THE SYSTEM ISN'T SEVERE ENOUGH FOR THEM TO STOP, AND THEY KEEP GOING ON. IT IS RIDICULOUS!

Bush's very definition of "The Act" is pure hokum. Since he took office, we Americans have had our civil liberties trampled on, with-held, denied and muddied. He may be President, but I didn't vote for him!

I am a postal worker. Bush wants to privatize the postal service and now he wants to open your mail. Do not let this man do that. If you let him reform the post office you will not know what is happening with your mail or who is handling it or even if it will be delivered properly. The post office has been going strong for the last 200 years and since the Nixon reform has done pretty well. Why change a good thing. DO NOT LET STRANGERS DELIVER OR OPEN YOUR MAIL!!!!!!!
