The Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus), has been America's national symbol since 1782. 'Kahautek', pictured here, is a resident of the Treehouse Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Illinois, USA. He was confiscated from a captive breeding center and can not be released due to a wing amputation.
