This tree seems to be just barely hanging on by it's roots. It seems a strong wind would just blow it right down and into the canyon. But it has survived at least a few winters, and appears to intend to keep on thriving. This is one example of the amazing ways nature adapts. - Theresa Husarik, photographer.
