This image is the classic example of always have your camera with you. The South facing slopes of the Tamar Valley are renown for their soft fruit crops particularly strawberries. It was a Sunday afternoon and we had a family outing going strawberry picking. Looking down the strawberry field to the River Tamar, I happened upon Mary Martin, a well known local artist, with easel and straw hat, surrounded by wild poppies. Using a 300mm lens to pull Mary into the picture this is the result. Doesn't she look at home in her surroundings?
