|The mountains of the Balkan region today known as the Former Republic of Macedonia, are silhouetted over the emerald water of the Megali Prespa lake. Just beyond those mountains the barrels of Kalashnikov rifles are still warm, and may become hot at any moment. Yet, here one can still be deceived by the low flying pelicans, the dark spots of the Balkan pines and the contemplative peace of nature: History taught us nothing, but maybe Nature will... we just have to listen.
