Jatamulya village, West Java Province
On June 14, 2008, Local authorities along with an Islamic mob started to demolish two church buildings. The dismantling of a roof, doors and fence stopped after a Public Order Officer fell from the rooftop.  The churches had been shut since 2005. Since then, members of three churches: Protestant Batak Christian Church, [Huria Kristen Batak  Protestant or HKBP], Indiania, or GEKINDO] and Elshadday Pentacostal Church in Indonesia [Gereja Pentakosta di Indonesia, or GPdI] - have been meeting in homes.
Quoted from Focus On Persecution Newsletter, Issue no. 9, August 2008.
They hope that someday they can use the buildings again. At first Christians began worshiping on the streets; however, on October 30, 2005 Muslims assaulted a pastor.
Authorities agreed to find another place for Christians to worship but never did. The churches have been vandalized since then. Church leaders have filed a case with the Jakara police.
Together in conbination, there are over 5oo members to these three churches.
