Group History HELP! Saturday, 7:54 PM

As most are probably already aware of this situation.  I'm just writing everyone for the people of Uganda, especially those people who are still able to live in their villages with their children.  I have been a Christian and a Jew all of my life.  This Joseph Kony who profanes the Name of The Most Holiest of Holies and says he's doing what he's doing for the ALMIGHTY!  The ancient Jews insulted The Holy One by worshipping a Golden Calf, Moses in his rage broke those tablets.  So the Almighty the Merciful One had Moshe build a box made of Acacia wood and cover it with Gold so they could have something to look at and be looking in the right direction.  This man perverting these laws so that he can start a war and put machine guns in childrens hands and earn power and profit from is what I would call Satanic.   I beg you as fellow believers to please educate yourselves on this situation and please remember the refugees.  I just found out that they are reducing food staples to the camps.  The UN and UN refugee commitee are still trying to do whatever they can.  As Christians we should stand together against such things and help make people aware of what it going on and that we oppose him and his false doctrines.

The Lord's Resistance Army (LRA),[3] is a sectarian guerrilla army operating mainly in northern Uganda and parts of Sudan.[4] It is designated a terrorist organization by The United States Department of State.[5]

The group was formed in 1987 and is engaged in an armed rebellion against the Ugandan government in what is now one of Africa's longest-running conflicts. It is led by Joseph Kony, who proclaims himself the "spokesperson" of God and a spirit medium, primarily of the Holy Spirit, which the Acholi believe can represent itself in many manifestations.[6] The group claims to be establishing a theocratic state based on the Ten Commandments and Acholi tradition.[6][7] The LRA is accused of widespread human rights violations, including murder, abduction, mutilation, sexual enslavement of women and children, and forcing children to participate in hostilities.[8]

Thank you for posting this important information and for letting us know what is going on. We know a pastor or two who are good people trying to help in Uganda and it is sad that they must live in fear because of this Army. We really have to pray without ceasing about this situation!
Grace, Peace and Blessings,
Donna
