139 billion US dollars could not bring Syria to its knees
Syria is gradually being liberated from 'rebels' of all kinds by her government troops.
With each liberated area, foreign propaganda also crumbles and increases the pressure on those who have put a lot of money into the overthrow of Dr. Bashar al-Assad.
At a press conference earlier this week, Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Miqdad said Arab countries have spent 137 billion US dollars over the past seven years to bring the Damascus government to its knees.

Parsifal, August 18, 2018
According to the Syrian Foreign Ministry's number two, Faisal Miqdad, 'well-known Arab (Sunni) countries' have supplied weapons worth well over a hundred billion US dollars to 'rebels' in Syria.
In addition to the Arab countries, the USA also supplied weapons worth about 2.2 billion US dollars to groups that joined the Americans in the alleged fight against the so-called Islamic state.
By comparison, Germany's defence budget for 2017 was 37 billion euros.
In seven years of attempted destruction of the Syrian Arab Republic, first by the inclusion of jihadists and later even by the use of their own troops, the 'investors' of this war have brought an unimaginable catastrophe to Syria.
Hundreds of thousands of deaths and millions of displaced persons were the result of this investment.
But in the end, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and of course countries such as the USA, Canada, Great Britain, France and of course Germany have made a gigantic misinvestment.
Horse racing also says you bet on the wrong horse.
The Syrian Arab Army, together with its allies Hezbollah, The Iran and the Russian Federation, has freed large parts of the country from the Wahhabi threat.
But it could not prevent Turkey and the USA from spreading to the west and northwest of the country and thus occupying parts of Syria.
Now the Americans are not only worried about their failed strategy in the region - not a single country has 'developed' as the planners in Washington put it on paper - but also about the reliability of their selected 'local partners'.

'We will continue to work with and through our partners (on the ground) to achieve the lasting defeat of ISIS in defined parts of Iraq and Syria'.

- so blatantly lying the CENTCOM (Operation Inherent Resolve) officials in a statement
