Who do you think you are?

I am three persons: The person I think I am, the preson you think I am and the person I really am.

Who do you think you are? Who do others thing you are? Do they coincide?

What two word would you choose to describe yourself? What two words would your best friend choose to describe you?

"If I saw myself as my friends and other people see me, I would need an introduction." Author Unknown.

Dear Heidi, my two words to describe you!

Oh Rajan. You are a dear man! Thank you.

I would choose the words HUMANITY and LIGHT for you.

Thank you dear Heidi

And I wish I had a choice of twenty words to describe you! Two are really insufficient, I know!

It is hard to describe somebody in only 2 words, knowing the complexity of the human being. And then, I simply can’t describe myself in a reasonable way. So I asked my mother to describe me. The result: “clever” and “shy”. I am sure that my colleagues would add “arrogant”.

Darlene! I choose RESILIANT and DEVOTED to describe you.

Cezar! So good to see you back. My words for you are PROFOUND and COMPASSIONATE.

It is an aggrivating little game but it certainly focuses the mind!

I would call myself SENSITIVE and ARDENT.

Dear Cezar

I would not describe you as arrogant at all!

I would describe you as, WISE and ETHICAL.

The first word that comes in my mind about you, Rajan, is “visionary”. In my language, this means both farsighted (to clearly see far in the future) and insightful (to understand in depth). I couldn’t find a more suitable word in English.

The second word is “trustworthy”.

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the group (invited by Ausra), and I would like to comment that there is also an element of others seeing you how they want to see you.  Some people have a hard time with change, and if their friends change it is very difficult and many of these friendships go by the wayside.   This does not happen if you see others (and yourself) as ever-changing beings constantly learning and constantly trying to see things from all sides.

As far as 2 words to describe me, I would have to say honest and caring (at least I hope I am).

Welcome to the group Susanna!

Your view is interesting, because we do change. This means evolution. Then, we become wise as we get older. Most of us change little by little, almost unseen, but when you reunite with somebody who was far from you for years, the differences are noteworthy. But there are people who may change rapidly, after a shock, or when a truth is revealed to them. This also happens.

Friendship means understanding. And friendship relies on many common aspects. When a friend comes to the conclusion that the friendship is over, then there were only 2-3 aspects that kept you together. Once those things vanished (because you changed), there are no common points, so, no reason for being together or enduring each other’s presence.

I agree, Cezar.  My experience has been if the basis of a friendship is not based on mutual respect (and depending where someone is in their evolution it is not always easy to determine this), then that is the friendship that won't last.

I think, therefore I am...

I am a multi-dimensional personality. The two words that I would use are: chameleon and rebel.

My friends might say witty and clever, if they liked me, if not...traitor and harlot. SmileyCentral.com

Hmm I pretty new, so shy to hazard my view on the others, but Mata mom!!! Comon!!!!

Chameleon and rebel makes me giggle. But ok, I would use thoughtful and creative. If I were being negative I would say overly-thoughtful and silly. And to segue from another thread... vengeance would be mine if I caught anyone calling you a traitor or a harlot, that is so untrue, don't be ridiculous! OOOCH! hehehe

As for myself, I fancy to call myself flexible and bright. I've had some people in agreement on the flexible and bright, along with many other opinions negatively would be unstable (quick changing) and arrogant. I was usually not concerned with what others thought of me because as I know, it doesn't change who I really am, but put in this way I can see that that is what I am as far as others see, so maybe I should look into it....... hmmmm.

My words for Rajan would be persistant and caring (attentive).

Peace,

Mariah

I have yet to know Mariah, a little more than at present! Then I will describe her in two words!

Mata, I do know very well! I would describe Mata,

 Spiritual  and  Wise

Thank you, both...you have warmed my heart and brought a smile.

For Rajan, you are first and foremost a gentleman...and brilliant.

My Mariah, is both brilliant and unrestrained.

Cezar, I would also describe as brilliant, and young.

It would appear that I like the word brilliant.

As for me, I am a soul and I belong to God.

Love & Peace
