Some days ago I visited again the Carpathians and the highest road in Romania (over 2000 meters). Here are some more pics:
And here is a high-altitude flower from there:

Cluj-Napoca Central Park
Galati, my hometown, and the Danube River.
Here in the Bay Area it's incredibly hot and warm. If it wouldn't be dark at 5pm already I would think it's summer! There is a very hot wind, presumably coming from the desert? I'm enjoying every bit of it as I dont like short days.
Gorgeous pictures Ausra and Cezar! Luv em all! I just got a new digital camera, but the only pics I'll be taking now, are winter ones. It snowed a little bit today.
Love & Peace
I LOVE the middle picture, Cezar. It's such a colorful carped of nature. And all colors are so bright. Lovely.
Maybe… I don’t know. All I know is the fact that there are 2 yellow pigments in the leaves and when the green pigment is gone (the chlorophyll), the yellow pigments are revealed. Some plants also have a red pigment (anthocyan), the red onion for instance.
Have a look at this link:
I've learnt very recently autumn is when leaves show their "true color" becasue they don't have the chlorophylle to tint them. Is it true?
