Man 78 Beaten by 6 Youths, "this is for Treyvon white man"

Now this is a racial attack. This is someone that was hunted down and beaten. Here- is just what your President intends to start.

Be proud...this is what a sensationalized media and outright lies will get us. Critical Race Theory in action.

Man, 78, recounts assault by 6 youths in E. Toledo

It was six against one.

Six juveniles -- the youngest 11, and the oldest 17 -- nearly boxed in Dallas Watts, a 78-year-old man from East Toledo.

Mr. Watts was on his way home from the nearby Gas Express Mart at Starr Avenue and White Street about 4:45 p.m. Saturday when the boys approached him.

One pointed at Mr. Watts and said, "take him down," the victim recounted in an interview Monday.

Mr. Watts, carrying home two small bags of pork rinds to dole out as treats to his three dachshunds, looked at the youth and said, "Why you picking on me?" Mr. Watts recalled. "Remember Trayvon. Why you picking on me?"

The boy, again, allegedly told his friends to "take him down."

Toledo police charged two children -- the 11-year-old and a 17-year-old -- with robbery, Sgt. Roy Kennedy said.

The boys on Monday were ordered held in detention at the Lucas County Juvenile Justice Center, prosecutor Lori Olender said.

The 17-year-old also faces a felonious assault charge from an unrelated shooting, Ms. Olender said. The teen allegedly shot Mark Bolling, 24, in the 600 block of Leonard Street in East Toledo on March 18.

Mr. Watts said one of the boys delivered a single blow to the back of his head during the incident Saturday, knocking the victim to the ground.

At one point, the victim recalled being lifted from the ground so one of the boys could "drop-kick" him in the chest.

One boy, he said, put his foot on the back of the victim's neck, with another shouting, "Kill him."

While Mr. Watts was down the boys kicked him, over and over, shouting, "[Get] that white [man]. This is for Trayvon ... Trayvon lives, white [man]. Kill that white [man]," according to a police report.

The boys fled when a man shouted at them, according to the report.

Mr. Watts said it's possible the assault was retribution for the death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, who was fatally shot by George Zimmerman, a Neighborhood Watch captain in Sanford, Fla., on Feb. 26. Mr. Zimmerman has said he fired in self-defense and has not been charged with any crime.

For investigators, it's unclear whether the assault was motivated by an attempt to avenge the Martin youth's death or whether Mr. Watts' "Remember Trayvon" message was misinterpreted as threatening or racist.

"It's still up in the air who started the verbal confrontation," Sergeant Kennedy said, adding that stories given by the suspect and the victim conflict and the investigation is ongoing.

When asked about the Trayvon remarks, Mr. Watts said, "All I meant by saying 'remember Trayvon' is to remember what happened to him, don't duplicate it here," suggesting that he was minding his own business as he walked home.

"The only reason I mentioned Trayvon, that was my defense," Mr. Watts said.

"Don't pick on me. I am not your enemy."

The assault occurred only a few hours after a peaceful rally, near the Thurgood Marshall Building, 420 E. Manhattan Blvd., to show support for the Martin family.

At his home Monday, Mr. Watts said he has never allowed weapons inside and that when his four children were growing up, they were not allowed to play "cops and robbers, to kill the Indians."

During the Vietnam War, Mr. Watts, who served in the military from 1950 to 1961, refused to let his boys play GI Joes.

There would be no more killing, he said.

But now, Mr. Watts says he plans to buy a gun and obtain a permit to carry it.

"What happened to me … down here on the corner, that changed my perspective on humanity," Mr. Watts said.

I'm not reading this sh!t. All you are doing is keeping the media frenzy and sensationalism going. The very things you have been criticizing. Imagine that! Hypocrite.

You just did. Again.

What you mean is, " I refuse to see what is happening" " I am going to ignore what my calls for racism have started here" "I don't want to know about CRT or Black Liberation Theory that Obama supports"

That a girl...just keep your head down and pretend that you don't see what is coming.

But isn't it like you, no sympathy for some elderly white man.

I guess these "children" were just innocently walking home? Prehaps they had some skittles in their pockets.

Blind fool.

I know! Why don't you come up with the information that shows that this is edited or a lie?

You know, like I did with the Treyvon story.

Give it a try Angela, go ahead and prove out that this is just sensationalism and not accurate reporting.

Have at it scout.

Praetorian ...

This is indeed a vicious attack ... a heinous crime.

What's your point?

Yeah, the President supports that because he introduced someone at college once.

You're such a jackass.

His point, Uno, is that he is a racist and he is trying really hard to make it look like black people, the president included, are all out to get us now.

Congratulations Uno.

It serves as an example of what "children" are capable of.

It serves as an example of what the media and our President have stirred up. But so many of you have not once asked the why of their actions. You should start.

It serves as a warning of what is coming if we don't stop this call of racism now.

Troll. Looks like you're trying your hardest to stir things up. I wonder why that is... ?

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and just assume you are an ignorant racist douchbag, conspiracy freak rather than someone deliberately trying to fan the flames of racial hatred by creating a hostile environment and promoting fear.

It's about time somebody beat up on an old white man.

Your point is, P. that this happened, so how bad was what Zimmerman did?  Well, right now what Zimmerman did (I hate to break it to you - you've been in your own private Idaho about it for so long), but it looks like what Zimmerman did was committ murder on an unarmed minor.

But hey, denial - it's just that river in Egypt.

What do you mean "get us?"

I'm not white.  I'm fore SURE not going down with you guys! Forget it!

I'm like...

Laugh it up. But first have a real good look at yourselves and at what is being created in our country.

Angela wants only to "fan the flames" that she creates or supports. She has no idea who Obama is, or what he is willing to support to collapse our system.

Uno is a well meaning person that finds it hard to see the manipulation that runs so deep in this government.

Christian is just pathetically needy and just wants some page time.

Angelica is seriously committed to one ideology which leaves no room for truths outside of her realm of comfort.

Electra is just short sighted but well meaning.

Me, I'm showing you what is happening and that your stance is feeding this. No one is being calmed by people allowing the lies and misinformation to continue with the Treyvon story.

You can still be fair and call for the truths. You can still be fair and research both sides.

But blindly calling Zimmerman a racist and Treyvon an innocent angel is only going to blow this thing up further.

Rationally taking a look at this is hard for some people.  We do not want Race Wars and rioting.  The FBI stepped in and hopefully the case is being invesitigated with diligence and all facts checked, evidence being thoroughly and scientifically collected, verified, etc.

Remember Casey Anthony trial in FL, this country does not need  another injustice.

It has been proven that NBC doctored the tapes of Zimmerman and they refuse to issue a broadcast statement; only a written statement and I am sure no one is even aware of this.   This incident transpired 48 hrs. ago and no MSM made any issue of it.

Yes, NBC altered the 911 call and no one seems to care.

However, in a court of law that will be evidence for Zimmerman.

No one is doing anyone good by LYING about the facts.

Obama has alreadly subliminally flamed this hot issue when he made his speech that Trayvon could have been his son, he personalized the incidient to pander to the people.

He used community organizer antics which he never used effectively to clean up the South Side of Chicago which is as bad or worse since the day he left.

In reality, we don't even know who Obama really is, the MSM still refuses to vett him.

But, they sure do turn every GOP candidate inside out and upside down.  There is no stone unturned in their lives.  Obama has had a very strange life and the media refuses to write about it; our backgrounds framework how we evolve and grow into adulthood.   But, Obama will always remain the enigma, the narcissist, the aloof one and I have heard these expressions by the MSM and that is as far as they go.

All those on the right who want to canonize Zimmerman - all you've basically got is a comment by Obama.  Pretty soon, you'll all be having the president be the cause of Trayvon Martin's death while Zimmerman will be an innocent bystander.

How about merely sticking to the facts in the case?

"Electra is just short sighted but well meaning."

Actually, nearsighted. "Remember Trayvon." was a seriously stupid thing to tell aggravated youths. Did he deserve a beating? No, but his words might have been construed by them to be a threat, because Zimmerman (a white guy" got away with murdering a "black" youth.

It was akin to telling them that he could kill them, and nothing would be done about it.

Horrific misunderstanding, due to a poor choice of words.

<<Christian is just pathetically needy and just wants some page time.>>

I'm offended by that. I want way more than just "some."

Sounds great and I'm impressed, I really am.  But what, specifically, does it mean?

But blindly calling Zimmerman a racist and Treyvon an innocent angel is only going to blow this thing up further.

What do you call an unarmed youth, walking home from the store and talking to his girl on his cell phone?  "Murder Victim" comes to my mind.

What you fail to understand, P. is that it doesn't matter what he wore; it doesn't matter what happened in school; it doesn't matter what was on his f'book page; it doesn't matter what photos the media chose to post and what they chose to say.  On the night he was walking home from the store he was unarmed and minding his own business - and he was murdered.

A special prosecuter is now in charge of this ..... debate about the who, what, when, where and why is senseless now.

How nice of you to post to tell other people it is senseless to post. Brilliant.

It serves as an example of what the media and our President have stirred up.

"I don't want to know about CRT or Black Liberation Theory that Obama supports"

So many dire sounding yet intentionally vague pronouncements here.  Is that cause there aren't any facts to back up this crappy - yet - typically - right - wing slander?

I'm not sure if that is right wing slander or just the insane mutterings of a covert racist.

"Nationwide protests."

This means that people all over the United States were upset. Because of this.... they were protesting, "all over the United States." The guy in charge of the United States, named Obama, mentioned it, because he is the head guy of the United States. It was his duty to respond to "Nationwide protests" since he is the President of this "Nation."

Well, sure, Electra, that all makes perfect sense to people that are reasonable.

It makes sense to me. "reasonable."

Calling me names now????   Really????

I'm in a goofy mood tonight, can you tell?
