How to Recover after C Section

Childbirth is the new birth of mother also. It is like miracle that after nine months tremendous journey, your baby comes out in this world. If you had a vaginal delivery then you can heal easily but if you had faced C section or cesarean delivery then you will need access time to recovery, there could be many reasons for C section, sometime delivery can’t be normal or sometime women wants herself not to face vaginal delivery causes of fear but after c section woman have to take care of herself more than normal delivery, here you will introduce with some method of recovery after section:

 

1.     Taking painkillers

C section is an operation like any other operation, and you will feel the same pain, so you must have to take painkillers after that, which your doctor had prescribed you, the pain remains for two to three weeks, so make sure that do not forget to take your painkillers it will help you to heal early and faster.

 

2.     Take proper Rest

During c section surgery your body loses much blood and water, and becomes weak, so you must have to take rest as much as possible, it is true that it is difficult to have rest when your baby wants more attention and care but try to sleep when your baby is sleeping and take help your family and friends for baby care, the more rest in early days after c section will help you to recover soon.

 

3.     Be Hygienic

C section includes stitches on abdomen area, so make sure that keep this area clean and dry, whenever you feel any weird like redness or pain or swelling then consult your doctor because stitches could be infected. Also avoid bath tub and pools in early days of c section; you can take some light massage on that area which will decrease the pain and make strong the abdomen tissues and muscles which will help you to recover soon.

 

4.     Start Walking

Start walking after 1 week slowly or first asks to your doctor about that, avoid to walk on stairs or like running, you just need a slow and light walk for some minutes, walking will improve your blood flow and reduce the risk of clots of blood and prevent you from constipation in body and improve your body functioning which is better for your recovery.

 

5.     Avoid Exercise

If you belong to fit and flexible environment, then you must avoid any exercise in early days of c section, because in these days your body become much fragile and weak and also with stitches which demands for rest so do not do exercise or lift any heavy things you must take help your family or friend for that, and if you fell like sneeze or cough then hold your abdomen first for protecting your incision area.  

 

6.     Focus on Nutrients

Add more vegetables in your meal which have extra nutrients value, also drink much water in a day, eating food with nutrients and with minerals value will keep you and your baby healthy and help you to recover soon.
