About Me Because I am a Gemini who also has Asperger's Syndrome, I am several things and have several fascinations. I am a certified Electronics Technician certified by the Electronics Technicians Association. I am also both a Microsoft A plus Certified and CompTIA A plus Certified IT Support Technician. I also served for 17 years as a reserve deputy sheriff in my county's sheriff's department. I've also done many hours of community service in my community from teaching computer courses at my local public library to serving as a technical advisior in my local PC users group. Did I also mention that I work on cars too? I couldn't begin to tell you how many break jobs I've done, or alternators, radiators, spark plugs, or batteries that I've had to change out. Also, since most cars now have computers in them, that's a plus for me when it comes to troubleshooting engine firing problems, because I just hook the car's computer up to my terminal and it gives me a read out of where the problem is.

Political Leaning
Wild Fact About Me Everything about me is a "wild fact."
My Philosophy Serving others, and especially the ones that I love dearly.
What Gives Me Hope Knowing that my service to others has made their day brighter and less stressful.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by I learned the hard way that people in positions of authority don't make the world a better place. People do. The only thing that people in positions of authority do is draw a paycheck off the taxpayers whilst feeding them a line of BS. All political parties are guilty of doing this, not just one.
What/who changed my life and why Too many to mention here, but I'd have to say that the one event that really changed my life was meeting the love of my life in 7th grade (1982) and being influenced by her to get my grades up to par. You see, before I meet her, I did not give one rats arse about education. My late father was a professional musician and entertainer and a such, he wanted me to know how it was in the real world, so I started out working as a roadie for his band loading his music equipment in and out of gigs at 3 years old and then started fixing his music equipment at 7 years old when I got my first soldering iron. I was fixing things in electronics before I could actually read. Because my late father had me working at a very early age, my education suffered because of it, which at the time, I didn't care. I thought that my life was set. Then in 1982, I moved to a different city and entered 7th grade with only a 2nd grade reading level. Whilst there, I meet this girl that I feel head over hills for and I tried everything I'd learned from my musician dad to score a date with her. Because of my then 2nd grade reading level, my teachers were worried that I would not be able to pass the new Governor's State Proficiency Test that had just been enacted as part of his school reforms that now required students to pass it in order to graduate from high school. So, the vice principle & my special ed teacher suggested to mom that I be transferred to another school across town to get me away from this girl that I was so crazy about. Needless to say the least, I was very upset about this move, but it ended up being a necessary one in the end. When I got to my new school, I decided that I was going to have to find my own way to get my reading level up if I ever expected to have an opportunity to reunite with this girl in high school, which I didn't get to do since I was held back in 7th grade at my new school, meaning that she was now a grade level ahead of me. I used to watch the evening news with my late grandfather and current events was always something that interested me besides electronics. So, I started picking up the newspaper on the way home from school, and I started reading it, along with watching the evening news just about every night. What I discovered was a lot of stories I'd see on TV were the same ones that I'd read about in the paper, so I ended up using word association as a means of getting my reading level up to par. This went on up to 9th grade and then I started noticing that reading text books got easier for me to understand, which meant that my grades came up from D's and F's to A's and B's. Something that I thought would never happened. Then in 9th grade, I took this IQ test and scored a 169 on it, way up from the 67 that I scored on it in 2nd grade. I also had my first crack at the state proficiency test which I scored a 93 in math and 63 in English, meaning that I'd have to retake the English portion again in 10th grade. So, I spent the entire summer of 1986 in the public library reading every book that I could get my hands on about parts of speech and grammar. Because I had scored a 169 on my IQ test the year prior, my special ed teacher in 10th grade had a very hard time justifying why I needed to be in her class and wrote the only reason being that it was to help me pass the English portion of the state proficiency test, which I did on my second try with an 85. That also meant that I no longer needed to be in special ed classes, so I finished the last two years of high school in regular classes now making A's & B's. No more D's & F's for me. Unfortunately though, I didn't get to reunite with the girl from 7th grade because she was a grade ahead of me and we had no classes together. I had seen her a few times in the hallway but that was it. I realized that the maker had a different plan for her life and that I was not to be a part of it. One that would lead her to marry someone else after she graduated, while I still had to do another year of high school. She went on to have a daughter and is now in her second marriage to someone else. I have done my best to leave her alone and that is why I will not mention her name publicly here or anywhere else on the Internet. Except to say that she was the one who influenced me to get both my reading level and education up to par. Had I not meet her, I would probably have ended up not having a high school diploma, a college degree, or my professional IT certifications that I now have, in addition to speaking two foreign languages, and I'd be working instead as a band roadie and music equipment tech and would not be the geek and smart arse that I now am.
