What I Want to Do:

sadi ranson-polizzotti
avid animal rights activist - write for journals both online and offline about political issues. Senior Editor for Cyrano magazine, edited by Patrice Greanville, editor emeritus Gore Vidal, senior editor Noam Chomsky and so many other talented writers. I am proud to be associated and honored to be asked to be part of the 'union.' I used to work for an animal rights organization, now I am on the other end as a writer, trying to affect change from the inside.

As to personal loves, I am a dancer and horse-rider and sometimes bellringer (the large, churchbells). I am also a writer (books) and am currently under contract to write a biography - a primer really - about a well-known author. You can find out more by going to my web site at or by looking up my name (sadi ranson) on Wikipedia, which has mostly correct information... and of course, you can use the Contact link on Tant Mieux, my site, to contact me.

What Gives Me Hope very little gives me hope - sorry to say. What DOES give me hope are places like this and Cyrano where people who really DO care can join and unite
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Cut carbon monoxide dioxide emissions because of the rising levels of the seas, which is a problem as the sea level raises several inches each year - and the polar ice-caps are melting. It's not necessarily about "global warming" per se, but it is about the sea level rising and that is quite complicated in terms of physics, but it is the emissions that are the real problem - cars, coal, big industry, etc...
What/who changed my life and why Nabokov and Marguerite Duras - Duras was left leaning, but Nabokov, surprisingly, was more of a right-winger which shocks me. In Duras I find a real sense of hope, just as I did in the film The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Kundera - i learned that life can be "heavy" or "light" depending on the person - and perhaps the biggest lesson i learned was that i am often too "heavy" in life and want to change that...
