About Me A spiritual person who follows no religion. I'm an artist, writer, poet, love music and playing the piano. Love people, and am always there for my family and friends. Do my best to live up to my ideals - but frequently fall flat on my face! Ho hum!

Wild Fact About Me Was a tomboy, loved climbing trees, rocks etc. Am afraid of no-one and will stand up to anyone for what I believe in. I believe in me!
My Philosophy Do as you would be done by. What you put out is what you get back. It's not rocket science!
What Gives Me Hope Seeing, through Care2 and other such organisations, how many people there are out there who care about our world and its inhabitants. Long live love!
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Prioritise! Education, health, environment, a fair day's pay for a fair day's work, end ALL discrimination, teach the philosophy of 'Do as you would be done by' in all schools - don't need religion to demonstrate empathy and caring as much for others as you do for yourself!
What/who changed my life and why Book: De Profundis by Oscar Wilde
Movie: To Kill a Mocking Bird; Dead Poets' Society
Event: Bringing down the Berlin Wall - people power!
Person: The Dalai Lama, Martin Luther King, John and Robert Kennedy, President Obama, and all the people who have put love of people and the world first, because they are what makes life worth living and keep hope alive.
  Favorites
Quotation 'Inside every older person is a young person wondering what the f--k happened!' Ain't that the truth! Really appeals to my sense of the ridiculous!
Another: "The fate of animals is of greater importance to me than the fear of appearing ridiculous; it is indissolubly connected with the fate of man."
- Emile Zola, French author.
I love animals, and their mistreatment breaks my heart.
