Wild Fact About Me
My Philosophy Human beings are social creatures. Love between human beings is the most important thing for a human being. Empathy is the greatest skill we have and we should improve it the best we can. Emotional intelligence and inter-personal skills will get you farther than anything else.
What Gives Me Hope
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Increase efforts to eliminate extreme poverty & sex slavery. Join the ICC (international criminal court) and be strong against Genocide and Mass Atrocities. Pass Universal Healthcare. Dramatically cut the military budget. End the military industrial complex. Clean Campaign Funds- End commercial control of the government. Fedral Law against discriminating against LGTB people in marriage (like Loving vs. Virginia). Pass ERA (equal rights ammendment). Improve public schools. Support Micro-lending & Social Entrepreneurship.
What/who changed my life and why Mom because she taught me to be strong and to value and respect myself. She taught me to stand up for myself and for others and to never judge people unfairly. She always listened to me & made me feel my voice was heard. And her victory over cancer and consistent optimism have made me a stronger person.

Harvey Milk, Temple Grandin, Emma Goldman, Howard Zinn, John Prendergast, Alice Paul, Nicholas Kristoff, Oprah, Joan Ganz Cooney, Helen Keller, The Freedom Riders, The Occupy Wall Street Protesters.

My highschool Morality/World Religions teacher, Mr. Lannig, who taught me a lot about Gandhi and other "heroes of social justice". He is an inspiration because he is truly dedicated to being a great father, husband, teacher, and person.
