Save theWolf
Removal of wolves from large areas of the United States in the 19th and early 20th centuries altered the natural relationships among animals ecologically associated with wolves. This disruption led to increases in some species and declines in others, adversely affecting biological diversity. Some people value wolves as a symbol of nature’s beauty and believe that their presence contributes to the wilderness experience. Indeed, a number of studies have shown that wolves are so appealing to people that the animals have had a positive effect on tourism and associated industries in areas where the animals are present.

Extinction is Forever
Everyone should be concerned about extinction on some level. As of February 2007, there are over 1,000 animal species on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. Over 1,000 plant types are also listed as endangered, something people don’t always consider when thinking about extinction. If people would do some research, open their minds, cut back on pollution
and support ecological programs, the world can be a better place. Extinction is a serious concern and a growing threat to much of the life of the Earth, and humans need to do their part in fixing the problems.

Each one of us plays an important role in protecting wildlife and their homes.

Save the Tiger

Through disappearing habitats, poaching and pollution issues, the species has gone from magnificent cats to endangered tigers. Only through diligent efforts in this ever changing world will save these beautiful creatures from eventual extinction.  Take Action here!

Stop Deforestation!

Everyday at least 80,000 acres of forest vanish from Earth. Other than for their beauty, forests are highly responsible in keeping and sustaining global ecosystems. In fact, much of the quality of life we enjoy, we owe to the forests.
Save a tree today!

Coral Reefs Under Threat

Twenty percent of the world's coral reefs have been destroyed. 24 percent of the world's reefs are under imminent risk of collapse through human pressures, and a further 26 percent are under a longer-term threat of collapse. To save coral reefs, governments must reduce carbon dioxide emissions quickly, but also create marine protected areas. Find out here how you can help protect Coral Reefs.

Save Wild Horses
The horse's main predator in the 20th century was man. By 1971, when Congress passed the Wild Free-Roaming Horse and Burro Protection Act and President Nixon signed it into law, there were approximately only 60,000 wild horses left on U.S. lands, their numbers drastically reduced by wholesale roundups and massacres. Please jump into the saddle and join the celebrities who are against the slaughter of wild horses and burros, click here to urge your federal legislators to support H.R. 297 and S. 576. You’ll be saving a little slice of American history.
