About Me I am a mom of brilliant, beautiful children who are the love and light of my life.
I'm retired due to illness, from the medical profession. I was a pediatric respiratory care practitioner with more than two decades of experience.
I am terminally ill. It doesn't, and never has, defined me. I believe in medicine and science. I believe in hope. I would call myself a realist with a side of optimism.
I'm passionate about our world. I feel as though we are of one race:human. Of one community:earth.
I love with all my heart. I'm sensitive and empathetic. I feel pain when others are suffering and have aspired, throughout my life, to be a voice for those that haven't one.
Highly educated, passionate, eloquent, and whip smart. I'm not humble about my abilities. I've worked hard, my entire life, to become who I am today. I will never know it all. There are teachers everywhere, leaped to be learned daily.
I believe in the preservation of life, the ability to choose your own path, and that our children are our most precious resource. And I always will.

Wild Fact About Me I'm much too shy to have a wild fact about myself. But maybe I do. Always keep you guessing
My Philosophy There is beauty in strength. Elevating yourself should never occur by stepping on someone else.
What Gives Me Hope My family, my children
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Do my best to make healthcare universal, thorough, and available to every human without bias.
Make education of our children the top priority. Including the ability to further and persue higher education without debt.
What/who changed my life and why Being diagnosed. It has been the single most disruptive and yet eye opening experience I've ever had. Second only to the birth of my children
Quotation Courage, strength, determination, and beauty. That's what little girls are made of. To hell with the sugar and spice
