About Me I'm currently attending night classes and a few online classes at the local college working towards my degree. It's been a long and rocky road, but the paved part of that road is getting closer.

I'm a mom of a teenage boy and a wife of a wonderfully loving husband. We are going to be remarried on our 10 year anniversary, which is still 2 years away. :)

I'm a former prison guard, and he's retired from the prison. We are hoping to open our own business in the next year or two.

We are the best friends you could have...ask anyone! We'll do anything we can to help without expecting anything in return. That's just the type of people we are. :)

We like to play cards, bingo, watch tv, good movies, and dance to country music. We are fun loving and most of the time are very happy together. Hey, no one's perfect. :)

Wild Fact About Me LOL A wild fact about me would have to be that I became a grandmother at the ripe old age of 28! :-)
My Philosophy Boredom is an insult to the brain!
What Gives Me Hope My son, my husband, my family, my friends, my dogs....gee...I guess you could say LIFE!
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Make it a law to have your pets spade or neutered. There are too many abused, unwanted pets out there.

Also, I would bring our troops home! This war is not solving anything! God bless our military!
What/who changed my life and why I'd have to say that the book I read that changed my life was two authors, actually. Terri Blackstock wrote a series of "Light" books that discuss the end of electricity and automobiles as we know it. They are a chilling reminder that our world may not survive without technology. The second lady to change my life through her writings is Barbara Johnson. Barbara was an inspirational writer and founder of the Spatula Ministries. She was a fantastic lady who did everything that she could do for anyone she met. Her books are wonderous eye-openers to those who have been closed for so many years.
