About Me * * On Feb 15th, I had to put my dear, sweet Babboo, a seven year old Boxer whom I had since she was alittle pea head puppy, to sleep as she suddenly came down with inoperable intestinal cancer. I am lost, I am devastated, as this innocent little girl changed my life in so many incredible ways. While I am working to stay busy and get on with my life, a part of me is broken and I have been quiet for a little while and will probably remain so for a little bit. Everyone should know the kind of love my Boo gave me, a sweet, happy, spunky gal who was always full of life and love. She asked so little and gave so much. Please hug your companions, and give them lots of love and be garetful for each day you have with them. * * *

Well, I am a little bit of everything. I have two dogs (1 boxer named Flash and a sassy Boston Terrier named Funny!) and I volunteer with a boxer rescue group and sometimes foster dogs and do transports, help with fundraising, website, whatever. I will likely acquire more dogs of my own in addition to fosters over the next few years. I also have 2 rabbits and 2 blue budgies. I am a tattoo artist. I drive a Jeep Wrangler, which I love dearly. I take the top off in the summer and rarely put it back until Fall because I love that out in the road feeling. I love either the city or the country, and generally not much in between. I can be a girly-girl in make up and frilly clothes or go out and get dirty in the yard or take up ceramics one day and soap making the next, or work on cars. I own and use several chainsaws. Physically I am attractive due to my extreme vanity and most would say I fall into the goth/rocker girl sort of category, but that doesn't really sum me up, either. No kids, and that won't likely ever change. Single and not particularly concerned about it. Figuring out what I am now, and how to be me AND functionally successful on the Earth. Not an easy task, is it?

Wild Fact About Me I was onced stalked by a clown.
My Philosophy I am what *I* call a "Darwinist' which bascially means I believe in the way he defined the natural order of things and that stronger species tend to survive more comfortably. To me, strength is more than physical or not at all: it is being able to figure out how things work, know how to make things from scrtatch, undestand survival techniques, and develop a way to co-exist in nature in a harmonious way. I believe in creative innovation, learning about everything I can. I think everyone should try to be the best "self" they possibly can - instead of trying to be something you're not, take your talents and inclinations and run with them! Follow life's unexpected invitations. Be true to yourself, and know yourself. Spiritually, I believe in some kind of God but I don't believe that God is any of the things that have ever been preached to me. I believe God is bigger than all of it. I also believe that God set up the laws of nature and set them to run their own course. When there is a hurricane or earthquake, I don't believe God causes these things - they follow the natural laws. I do believe I can pray to God for strength and guidance, but not for rain or good crops. Obviously I have lots of philosophies and could go on and on here indefinitely, s oI'll stop there!
What Gives Me Hope Honesty. Beyond that, I am in a cynical mood at the moment so you'll have to check back later for more!
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
What/who changed my life and why Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut. It made me realize I am a Bokononist. I read it whenever I need an attitude adjustment.
Quotation No matter how thin you slice it, it's still bologna.
