Hello All,

My name is Michelle, but I go by Shell or Shells. This CARE2 network is a wonderful place to meet people that I can talk to intellectually and discuss ideas and philosophys about the state that this world is in--be it global worming or just trying to deal with everyday life and the people we live and work with.

I am a very spiritual person by nature. I have my ups and downs, but I do not intentionally spill my downs on everyone else. I try to be discreet.

I have treated everyone the same all my life and I have been trying to figure out why people are mean. My realization is that they are not intentionally being mean to me or anyone else, they are just afraid of what they don't know or understand. Some people have bad days etc... I never hold this against anyone. You can't judge someone when you know that they are not open minded enough to ponder all the different avenues of perception. Their minds stop at what “they” think. I liken this to a series of books that my nephew had as a child where you get to choose the next path to take to continue the story. You could always come back and choose another path to go etc... and until you were able to see all the paths that you cold follow, how could you choose the right one for you? The only thing with this concept is that there may be more paths unexplored.

I have had many a heart ache in my 44 years. People often misunderstand my kindness or they abuse it. Many a time have they been afraid of me. I have always said it was very hard to be me. I know no one like me. I have had a tough time coping when it comes to disrespect of others and wish I could do something about it when it happens but have never been in the position of authority to be able to enforce my wisdom and defuse the situation myself. I think that's why it hurts so much because I have to stand there and watch and am unable to participate or defend. But I am patient and listen well while learning from any and all contacts (as in the Celestine Prophecy). My problem is confrontation. I have a tendency to coward away. I need to learn how to stand my ground and be seen as strong and impartial. My co-worker refers to me as a people pleaser. I feel that I have always treated people the same and have been impartial. I like and get along with everyone. Never cared if they had a foul smell or looked or dressed a little different. Never cared if they were presidents or common folks. This disturbs people. Personally, I feel we are all people and have something to offer. And, I always say, “there is nothing wrong with doing everything right”.

I wish to help people to understand that forewarned or educated is so much better than being surprised by not knowing what to do in an unusual instance. This is such an overpowering feeling when you are caught off guard. The inner pit of your psyche just wants to make you puke with such a force that you wonder if it is a sign from heaven! For instance, you just can't tell teens or young adults about life. They need to experience it for themselves. I always exposed my sons to all kinds of situations so that life would not scare them. Youngsters, take head to what your elders say! It cuts out the stress of figuring things out on your own and lessens the number of mistakes you make. You have been told! It is your responsibility to make the right choices.

What I have done or at least tried to do all my life is to stop the evil or the negative energy that spews from people sometimes. Not to return the evil but to starve the evil with love and positive energy because, they know not what they do. How can you judge or punish a person for being ignorant?

  • People do what people do! Not everyone knows what you know; although, they know things that you do not. We all learn things at different times in our lifetimes. We never stop learning—that is if we have an open mind. Some people never learn kindness until they are taught and sometimes that is at a much older age, etc... You can learn from all and we need to keep on learning to grow. We have heard that you are never too old to learn. We have also heard that you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Well, if people don't want to learn, then just listen. The hard part is knowing when to keep your mouth shut! You don't always have to have the last word. Some people know it all. Just listen and you may learn something. You can't always be a teacher.

Here at CARE2 I have met so many people with the same belief system as mine. Or, at least parallels in some way. This is the closest I have ever come to meeting people that I can chat with that are on the same page as me. It feels great!

Thank you all for granting me the right to free speech and free will and for the many shares that you have posted and the influences that you radiate.  Here I can show my appreciation for the knowledge I have gained.  It has made me a stronger person. I am learning so much and always have an ear for anyone who just wants to talk/chat or express shares or ideas. Just send me a line anytime. ah ah choo

Hello All,

One Nation Under God With Liberty and Justice for All!
WE need to design a flag that is universal to all.
t will fly high above the sky!
ut it on your flag poles above our country flags.
It will be for our ONE NATION.

My idea: (idea only—all of you need to expand on this idea) I am thinking, what represents peace? The waiving of the white flag means surrender.

What would unite us all? Maybe a Peace sign? Maybe a design already made? How about: a golden peace sign. One that will reflect light and send a message to those in need. Liking this to the reflection in a mirror. Thank you Aunt Blanche! You gave me this tidbit. My father was in the Hospital not long ago. After his surgury and while we were waiting for him to wake, My Aunt Blanche spoke the following words to me: “I keep mirrors throughout my house. I have one in every room.” You see your reflection, the reflection within.

Everything that I write here, is from my thoughts to yours.  I have had so much influence from strong personalities (those who think their word is gospel).  They have not let me speak my mind.  Well, HELLO,  isn't it about time I did?  I am breaking the link with those who know it all.  Why?  Because I want to learn more!  The phrase the buck stops here--yep, it sure does when you don't give a person a chance to speak, it's like you slammed the doore in their face.

This is such a nice place to come because it is filled with such HOPE for mankind.  Thank you all for the inspiration
I have experience that I wish to share with all, there are things I wish to share with few, and OH! so much I want to learn.  I am looking for answers.
Will you help me believe in mankind?

I am concerned about the state of mind of our National population.  Negative thinking destroys lives.  Where is the hope?  Why do people have to take so much energy from positive thinkers just to make themselves feel better?  Can't we all live together in hamony knowing that we are all different in the way we feel and think.  We can walk away from everyone knowing that we have learned something from each other.  We all have something that we can give and it can be positive.  Be it a smile or a hello.  We all have bad days.  They are our bad days and it does not have to reflect or spill over into someone elses day.  We all need to lean how to deal with the negative in a positive way.
It would be nice to meet some people that I can talk to intelectually and discuss ideas and phylosopys about the state that this world is in.  Be it global worming or just trying to deal with everyday life and the people you live and work with.
Would you like to become my friend?
Thank you for this website and all the wonderfull people in it.

ON A LIGHTER NOTE, BELOW YOU WILL FIND SOME SIDE TICKLING JOKES.  HOPE YOU WILL ENJOY THEM:  (Posted with absolutely no disrespect toward any one.  Honestly just jokes.)

A blonde wanted to go ice fishing. She'd seen many books on the subject, and after getting all the necessary tools together, she headed for the ice.
After positioning her comfy footstool, she started to make a circular cut in the ice. Suddenly, from the sky, a voice boomed,
Startled, the blonde moved further down the ice, poured a thermos of cappuccino, and began to cut yet another hole. Again from the heavens the voice bellowed, THERE ARE NO FISH UNDER THE ICE."
The blonde, now worried, moved away, clear down to the opposite end of the ice. She set up her stool once more and tried again to cut her hole. The voice came once more, "THERE ARE NO FISH UNDER THE ICE."
She stopped, looked skyward, and said, "IS THAT YOU LORD?"
The voice replied, "NO, THIS IS THE MANAGER OF THE HOCKEY RINK."

The Three Little Pigs

Three Little Pigs went out to dinner one night. The waiter came and took their drink order.
"I would like a Sprite," said the first little piggy.
"I would like a Coke," said the second little piggy.
"I want beer, lots and lots of beer," said the third little piggy.
The drinks were brought out and the waiter took their orders for dinner.
"I want a nice big steak," said the first piggy.

"I would like the salad plate," said the second piggy.
"I want beer, lots and lots of beer," said the third little piggy.
The meals were brought out and a while later the waiter approached the table and asked if the piggies would like any dessert.
"I want a banana split," said the first piggy.
"I want a cheesecake," said the second piggy.
"I want beer, lots and lots of beer," exclaimed the third little piggy.
"Pardon me for asking," said the waiter to the third little piggy,"But why have you only ordered beer all night?"
You're gonna LOVE me for this....
     The third piggy says -
"Well, somebody has to go 'wee, wee, wee, all the way home!

Subject: FW: The Horse, the Chicken and the Harley

On the farm lived a chicken and a horse, both of whom loved to play together.
ne day the two were playing, when the horse fell into a bog and began to sink.
Scared for his life, the horse whinnied for the chicken to go get the farmer for help!
Off the chicken ran, back to the farm. Arriving at the farm, he searched and searched for the farmer, but to no avail, for he had gone to town with the only tractor.
Running around, the chicken spied the farmer's new Harley.
Finding the keys in the ignition, the chicken sped off with a length of rope hoping he still had time to save his friend's life.
Back at the bog, the horse was surprised, but happy, to see the chicken arrive on the shiny Harley, and he managed to get
a hold of the loop of rope the chicken tossed to him.
After tying the other end to the rear bumper of the farmer's bike, the chicken then drove slowly forward and,
with the aid of the powerful bike, rescued the horse!
Happy and proud, the chicken rode the Harley back to the
farmhouse, and the farmer was none the wiser when he returned.
The friendship between the two animals was cemented: Best Buddies, Best Pals.
A few weeks later, the chicken fell into a mud pit, and soon, he too, began to sink and cried out to the horse to save his life!
e horse thought a moment, walked over, and straddled the large puddle.
Looking underneath, he told the chicken to grab his hangy-down thing and he would then lift him out of the pit.
The chicken got a good grip, and the horse pulled him up and out, saving his life.
The moral of the story? (yep, you betcha, there IS a moral!)
"When You're Hung Like A Horse, You Don't Need A Harley To Pick Up chicks.”

It has long been contended that there are male jokes and there are
female jokes. And there are unisex jokes. Here is a joke I consider a
true female joke. I offer it to you in the hopes that women will love
it and men will pass it along to a woman who will love it.
A woman was sitting at a bar enjoying an after work cocktail with her girlfriends when an exceptionally tall, handsome, extremely sexy middle-aged man entered. He was so striking that the woman could not take her eyes off him. The young-at-heart man noticed her overly attentive stare and walked directly toward her. (As all men will.).
Before she could offer her apologies for so rudely staring, he leaned over and whispered to her, "I'll do anything, absolutely anything, that you want me to do, no matter how kinky, for $20.00 - - on one condition."
      (There are always conditions!)
Flabbergasted, the woman asked what the condition was. The man
replied, "You have to tell me what you want me to do in just three
(Controlling, huh?). The woman considered his proposition for a
moment, and then slowly removed a $20 bill from her purse, which she
pressed into the man's hand along with her address. She looked deeply

into his eyes, and slowly, and meaningfully said . . . .
      "Clean my house."

A man, returning home a day early from a business trip, got into a taxi at the airport. It was after midnight.
While en route to his home, he asked the cabby if he would be a
witness. The man suspected his wife was having an affair and he
intended to catch her in the act. For $100, the cabby agreed.
Quietly arriving at the house, the husband and cabby tiptoed into the bedroom. The husband switched on the lights, yanked the blanket back and there was his wife in bed with another man. The husband put a gun to the naked man's head.
The wife shouted, "Don't do it! This man has been very generous! I
lied w hen I told you I inherited money. He paid for the Hummer I
bought for you.
He paid for our new cabin cruiser.
He paid for your New York Giant's season tickets.
He paid for our house at the lake.
He paid for our country club membership, and he even pays the monthly dues!"
Shaking his head from side-to-side the husband slowly lowered the
He looked over at the cab driver and said, "What would you do?"
The cabby replied; "I'd cover him up with that blanket before he
catches a cold."

A number of primary schools were doing a project on "The Sea." Children were asked to draw pictures or write about their experiences. Teachers got together to compare the results and put together some of the 'better' ones. Here are some of the descriptions of "ocean life."

1. This is a picture of an octopus. It has eight testicles. (Kelly age 6)

2. Some fish are dangerous. Jellyfish can sting. Electric eels can give you a shock. They have to live in caves under the sea where I think they have to plug themselves in to chargers. (Christopher age 7)

3. Oysters' balls are called pearls! (James age 6)

4. If you are surrounded by sea you are an Island. If you don't have sea all around you, you are incontinent. (Wayne age 7)

5. I think sharks are ugly and mean, and have big teeth, just like Emily Richardson. She's not my friend no more. (Kylie age 6)

6. A dolphin breathes through an asshole on the top of its head. (Billy age 8)

7. My uncle goes out in his boat with pot, and comes back with crabs. (Millie age 7)

8. When ships had sails, they used to use the trade winds to cross the ocean. Sometimes, when the wind didn't blow, the sailors would whistle to make the wind come. My brother said they would be better off eating beans. (William age

9. I like mermaids. They are beautiful, and I like their shiny tails. How do mermaids get pregnant? (Helen age 7)

10. When you go swimming in the sea, it is very cold, and it makes my willy small. (Kevin age 6)

Wild Fact About Me It is so hard for me to be around people who talk badly of others. Negative thinkers! It actually makes me very ill. They steal my energy and I let them. I just can't let myself treat others that way.
My Philosophy Everyone and everthing should be treated with great respect--no matter what. That does not include people who abuse this respect.
What Gives Me Hope What would give me hope?

If Someone created a devise to clean up the Ozone! You just can't tell me that it can't be done! There is so much time and moneys waisted on unnecessary research and developments! What could be more important than the earth we live on?

If I found others with similar abilities and interests as my own. I get prity lonely sometimes.

If I could learn how to deal with micro-managers. People who want to controle your every move. You can not express personality. You can not speak or phrase things your own way, it has to be their way. It's like you become this inatimate object, I call it being a gumby doll, (its been so many years since I have seen the animation of Gumby and Pokey that I even think I might have misspelled it) I just let them bend me this way and that (a people pleaser). I am actually really afraid of confrontation. I have a really knowledgable background when it comes to confrontation. Anyway, If anyone has any advise on the subject, PLEASE! Fill me in! I know I'm missing something somewhere. Anyone find that missing piece to my puzzle?
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Spend more on the restoration of the would's atmosphere.

Unite people in great numbers with our positive energy.

Make our education system a place to learn the latest technology. Children are surprisingly knowledgable at a younger age. These are the impressionable years. Years to learn. They need to feel safe and focused on the positive. No distractions and learning made fun. It's like you get more with honey/sugar than plain old shit! Our children are years ahead in their capabilities than we were at their ages. We need to RESPECT OUR CHILDREN.
What/who changed my life and why The book "The Celestine Prophecy" was a book that I feel like I wrote. It is a good book on ethics. It clarified my beliefs and I now know that there are people who think the way I do. It was a nice realization that I was not alone.

"Conversations with God" was a really good book. It was like listening to my own words.

The Terminator series. Awsome!

My Mother (not in a positive way)

My first husband (not in a good way)

When I say not in a good way, I mean that I am thankful for the lessons and for the most part, I learned them well.
Quotation Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. But, this is a little scary; because, what if someone wanted to be killed? Would/could they kill? Maybe that is why people do what they do. They want this to be done to them. What are our limitations?
