CAIR “Basically…A Terrorist Organization” Claims Minnesota Republican

Minnesotans could stand proud after hearing the testimony of Rep. Keith Ellison at Peter King’s “radical Islam” hearing.  But another Minnesota Representative got into the spotlight, too — Freshman Congressman Chip Craavack, who got attention for calling the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) “basically…a terrorist organization.”

Via Talking Points Memo:

Rep. Chip Cravaack (R-MN) continued on the theme that Reps. Peter King (R-NY) Frank Wolf (R-VA) started on earlier today at King’s hearings on the “Extent of Radicalization in the American Muslim Community and that Community’s Response” by attacking the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

But Cravaack upped the rhetorical ante a bit, referring to CAIR as “basically… a terrorist organization” and asking Los Angeles County Sheriff Leroy Baca — hypothetically — if he would continue to work with CAIR if he “knew that CAIR was a terrorist organization sponsored by Hamas.”

“Let me answer this way,” Baca said in response to the accusations, “if the FBI has something to charge CAIR with, bring those charges forward and try them in court and deal with it that way.”

Attempting to link CAIR and terrorism appeared to be a key goal of the hearing, with Rep. King calling CAIR an “unidicted co-conspirator” of radical Islamists more than a dozen times, and at one point even noting that Rep. Ellison worked closely with the organization in an attempt to hurt Ellison’s credibility as well.

Since the '90s EVERYONE KNOWS of CAIR's TERRORIST links to Hamas/Hezbollah/Muslim Brotherhood (SOME have been JAILED for FUNDRASING for 'em)!

'Taquiyya & Kitman' (K. 3:28/16:106) ALLOW Muslims to LIE to further their HATE-BASED 'ideology' pretending to be a 'RELIGION'!

Baca shows how 'Dhimmis' (conquered non-Muslims) will LIE about Muslims' institutions & their ardent associations with HATE-BASED MUSLIMS for their HATE-BASED KORAN!

SINCE Muslims are ORDERED to LIE, the BEST SOURCE of info about Islam would be the BRAVE souls who've LEFT that HATE-BASED ideology!

Thoughtful apostates (ex: Sergei Bourachaga, Nonie Darwish, Wahlid Shoebat, Ali Sina, Wafa Sultan, Amir Taheri, Ibn Warraq, etc. & REAL Muslim scholars like Tawfiq Hamid) ) may be KILLED by ANY 'GOOD' Muslim/as!

"CAIR does not support these groups ‘publicly’." (stated by Ibrahim ‘Honest Abe’ Hooper, July 2003 during phone conversation with journalist Rachel Neuworth, concerning Hamas-linked Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR's) record of support for Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood & various other terrorist groups)

'Taquiyya': K 3:28 - "Let not the believers take those who deny the truth for their allies in preference to the believers – since he who does this cuts himself off from God in everything –unless it be to protect yourself against them in this way...”

John K, you don't have a clue what feminism is. When you don't know about something it's best to keep your mouth shut and your ears/eyes open, you might learn something that way and you'll look a lot less stupid.

This list was compiled using hate group publications and websites, citizen and law enforcement reports, field sources and news reports.

Hate group activities can include criminal acts, marches, rallies, speeches, meetings, leafleting or publishing. Websites appearing to be merely the work of a single individual, rather than the publication of a group, are not included in this list. Listing here does not imply a group advocates or engages in violence or other criminal activity.

Please check out the interactive map and see what your own state may have to offer.

This bigotry is creating a bigger terrorism against Americans unnecessary and these are guys who made those that stay in Muslim countries burn American flags and the Bible. Remember for every action there is a reaction!

I agree. If there are charges that can be made here, let them be brought out and tried. Or are these just like President Obama's nonsense with prisoners at Guantanamo ... he won't put them on trial to determine their guilt, but he won't let them go either.

STOP THE INNUENDO. Stop the defamation in the absence of some solid proof. If the Representatives have something that can be presented to demonstrate a clear and unambiguous link between that organization and any known terrorist group, let them bring it out and have it presented under oath. Otherwise, it's time to shut up.

[And the same thing with Mr. Obama and the Guantanamo prisoners. Trial or turn them lose! It should be possible to arrange regular court trials held THERE under the auspices of federal courts using ordinary juries (which, admittedly, might have to actually convene in some other location and view the proceedings via remote link). ]

Anne and Warwick are correct. Why do Republicans promote Hate? Because as many dictators have found: Get people, who feel they have something missing in themselves, to rally around a certain something, and they'll all come running to your side.

Well duh, maybe the reason congress is saying it is because the DOJ has been saying since the '90's and is still saying so. CAIR was an unidicted co-conspiritor in the trial of the Holy Land Foundation.
