Farm Sanctuary: Twenty Years Of Rescue, Education & Advocacy (VIDEO)

Farm Sanctuary started its humble beginnings in 1986 as a small volunteer organization that advocated for animals rights while selling veggie hot dogs out of a VW van.

Over twenty years and thousands of rescues later, Farm Sanctuary has become the nation’s leading farm animal protection organization with hundreds of thousands of members and counting.

Throughout the years Farm Sanctuary has remained adamant about educating the public on the plight of innocent farm animals and spreading a beautiful message of a more peaceful coexistence with all living beings.

Watch the video below to get a closer look at the story of this essential organization and remember, a compassionate world begins with you!

Beautiful video. I didn't know about this place. The scenery looks like upper state New York. A place, where animals can just live, with no other purpose to humans. They can just live out their lives on earth, as was intended. I love it. Want to visit, next time I'm up north.

It is mindboggling that there are people in the world who can abuse animals without a second thought - thank God for people like this

Thank goodness for Farm Sanctuary and the many other animal welfare/rescue organizations that are out there to help the animals when those of us who would like to, can't. God bless you!

I re-watch this video every few days. Farm Sanctuary is an invitation and challenge to us all. Heroes - both the humans and the animals.
