Is Your Health Up For Debate? [VIDEO]

The battle over whether lawmakers and business owners should be able to make women’s health care decisions for them rages on, with local politicians stepping in to mandate pre-abortion procedures while national politicians argue that government can’t force businesses or religious institutions to provide birth control against their will.

But the National Women’s Law Center is ready to join the fray with a new campaign. “Lawmakers in Congress and across the country have erected dangerous hurdles for women to jump over to get the reproductive health care they need,” said Marcia D. Greenberger, Co-President of the National Women’s Law Center. “But women are fighting back. They drew a line in the sand in Mississippi, defeating a fetal personhood amendment, and in Virginia, blocking a harmful ultrasound bill. This powerful outcry should serve as a warning to overreaching politicians everywhere. Women will not sit back and allow politicians to continue to jeopardize women’s health. Women everywhere are mobilizing to tell their lawmakers: our health is NOT up for debate!”

People are bred like cattle to consume, produce, and borrow. All other issues are wedge issues to distract from that. Of course they are important, to us, and the corporate elite knows that. That's why they are continuously successful.

Why is My Health as a woman and my reproductive rights up for debate and legislation when YOURS aren't Sir? With that appendage between your legs, you spread STD's, flash women and children, commit assault, send unwanted photos across the phone and wireless lines, produce unwanted children too many DON'T support adequately or stay involved in the lives of far too often, all while accessing Viagra, Testosterone patches, erectile dysfunction equipment via your health insurance. Our Insurance companies pay for all of your Reproductive Assists and Vasectomies as well, but you would legislate away our right to the same care, choice and treatment.

Take away our rights as Women..and we are coming after YOURS as Men.

My health obviously is up for debate, since it is currently being debated. But I would prefer it not be considered an acceptable thing to consider not letting me have. I have enough issues with my health care without others adding in more.
